some experience to share about the android play.

1) When connect phone to android play, my phone only went into android play mode - which only shows black screen and the word android play and i cant access to any other things in my phone. Which means with my phone on android play mode, i cant use waze and read whatsapp?

2) Whatsapp message did appear on my car screen, but it only allowed it to be 'read out vocally' instead of showing me the message. It could be quite inconvenient since some of our malaysia slang cant be pronounce properly. Any setting can be done to display the message out?

3) Since android play caused the above inconvenience, i then tried to plug in cable, just to charge my phone without connecting to android play (exit phone mode). But at the same time, i found out that with my phone connected to the usb, i cant connect to audio via bluetooth (source cant be detected), hence unable to listen to my soptify via bluetooth while charging.

Is the above normal or only me?

Found some issue apple air play.
When i turn off engine with the phone connected and then turn on engine again with the phone still connected, it can't recognize my phone. Need to unplug and plug in the phone to make it work.

I also can hear some ratling noise at dashboard when at low speed. Will they rip off the whole dashboard to fix this? I afraid if they rip off and fix again, the finishing will not be like new car.

Any idea guys?

2. Normal, No setting to display the text. Unless you get a HDMI bypass mirroring.
3. Not too sure on this - Or just get a 12V Car USB Charger - it will charge your phone faster too as the USB port is 1.5A. USB Car Chargers can support QC 2.0 & 2.4A charging.

I found this out too recently. If you plug in the phone before turning on your car, this would happen. Sometimes, the HU will restart when you plug in the phone before turning the car on.

Easiest solution, wait for the car to turn on before plugging in your phone.

Penang is really no idea as too far from me here. I guess should be similar discount as all want to fight for more sales since now sale is slow.

1 and 2 can be solved with bypass cable or mirroring they called. Then you can use phone which HU is working.

Folks, confirmed can get extra discount for 1.8S? I got only RM500 nia... and i too haven't got my car yet as i booked on 27th Jun at BM Honda.
I told my SA before and they said only TC or TCP model can get that high only... 1.8s no discount so far....

Anyone of you in Klang Valley changed your Civic's horn to a better ones? The stock horn is so pathetic. kindly share the price and location if you have done it.

I heard is a bit difficult to change, need to partially take down the down the bumper.

They might take the whole dashboard out and check, which i hate it a lot..
U might wanna ask them to tighten up the screws if there's any..

In that case I will live with it as long as the sound is not unbearable. It is just a very mild sound which can be heard if the speaker is turned off.

the pic show body more than windows

Mine has noise all over the car. they took out the dashboard twice to lay insulator inside to minimise the gap (thats the only solution it seems). still has noise tho, not fully fixed. Civic dashbaord has no screw, all are plastic clips. That is how/where the noise generated.

i've escalated this case to HM. 2months old car has got so many rattling sound.

Btw, the noise is very loud, constantly. Even the technician and service advisor also told me "your car rattling sound very loud ah"
