U need to learn how to use the Auto Brake Function. There is and should never be any 'jerking'. The Honda version of the Auto Brake Hold is very smooth unlike the BMW version. So no reason for any jerking. Even when u floor the pedal the auto brake releases very smoothly.

Agree, Honda auto hold really works better then BMW or Merc ones (at least compared to the f10 and w204). It release the brake smoothly and doesn't simply engage into auto hold mode.

The brake hold will confuse itself when u

1) inch forward between 0 - 1 kph.
2) when u didn't fully press the brake to slow down because u don't want to stop completely at very low speed.

If replicated correctly, it will trigger the brake hold followed by the judder.

My solution is I don't inch forward in brake hold anymore.

As i mentioned in V1 thread, this function is not going to work. When u try to install APK, the install button appears to be grey-out. I'm following xda developer, so no solution yet up to date. (If there is any development progress i will let everyone know)
Only HRV and CRV can able to by pass, only they can have their HU to force install waze or google map inside.

Its not the brake hold confusing itself. Its us who have this bad habit of 'inching forward'. A stop means a stop. And as long as the car is in motion, the brake hold will not engage. It only engages when ure doing that 'inching forward' thingy because ure not supposed to be doing that in the first place.

So as I said earlier, we need to adapt to the correct way of using the Brake Hold function. And I also say be thankful u have the Honda version which is super smooth. biggrin.gif
