Hi guys,

Would like to check with you guys whether did you guys encounter any issue for mazda3 HS if lets say you drive at highway during highspeed like around 160km/h onwards the RVM on the passanger will light up eventhough there are no motor or car bhind which is coming.

I just tested mine at klia 2 highway and at a speed of 190km/h and the RVM keep light up like about each 10 sec once and it only lights up on my passanger side even i tried to flip my side mirror still having the same issue.

Need some advise from you guys.

It depends on the side object, sometimes mine will light on but not as what you said. I suggest you head over to SC to get it check.

And fyi, the Blind spot monitor radar sensor is located @ the side of the rear bumper not side mirror.

same thing, last week when i drive from KLIA back to ipoh, cruising around 120-130km/h suddenly can see my left RVM indicator light up then turn off after a while and occur every 10s like that, i thought the sensor is detecting something that human eyes cannot see sweat.gif

i noticed that it only occur at night when driving fast and not much surrounding light, no problem when i drive back from ipoh to KL during afternoon

With such a low agreed value it is no point to take agreed value and pay a higher premium. Obviously the insurance company is playing safe. A fairer value is 20% depreciation or RM100K.

Thanks bro. Went with Allianz, they give agreed value @ 106K.

RM4599 (Oct 2016 Promo), almost 1 whole day (9am-6pm).
Another positive point is their service! Ben & Darren explained to me the detail of the product and every step they did on my car.

If you are going to do it, just mentioned Anson Lee recommended you smile.gif  cool2.gif

RM4599 is a very high price to pay for coating. Some companies increase the number of years of warranty to pump up the price. I'm not saying 7 years warranty is worthless but it is unlikely you want to pamper your car for 7 years. You may not even drive your car that long or the company may not last that long. I also wonder if the company will keep its word for 7 years or find some reason to void the warranty. As coating doesn't protect against dents, dings, scratches and fading you may want to respray your car after a few years. So consider carefully before you take a long warranty package. You may not get full value out of it.

Want to ask if anyone installing LOCKTECH onto new Mazda 2 or 3 not from Mazda authorized panel, will it void the warranty?

It's mirrorlink. If you wait, the new OS upgrade should able to support CarPlay and Android auto.

Refer to Paultan , Carlist, and other media sources, 1st January 2017, all Mazda models will be having their first price increase.

Be informed that when other brands increased their price in 2015/2016, Mazda maintained theirs.

i find it light up frequently when travelling on left lane or middle lane, so my assumption is the sensor might detect the light as well, not only the object? hmm.gif

just sharing with you guys, last week 3 m3 owners joined a touge session with other gang, got FD2R, swift sport, FT-86, celica and satria neo

it was a fun drive to Kuala Klawang from Cheras driving through Titi town, curvy road all the way, the road is uneven and at some part of the road the tires cant grip properly causing uneven brake force due to uneven road, even though our m3 stock suspension handled it well but it is still dangerous, at higher speed i worry that i might crash to the hill

despite FD2R being almost 2 gen behind, swift and neo having lower CC and smaller engine, they are way faster than us and quicker through the corner, but that's obvious since their driving skills is way better than me and their car is heavily modded while mine is just stock, but on straight road we can easily pull away on the lower CC NA cars tongue.gif

at some part of the road i enter the turn with the wrong speed (too fast) and the rear tires lose grip, stability control kicks in and surprisingly it doesn't aggressively correct the course of the car, but instead it let the rear slide and gently adjust the car direction according to the direction i want, it happened in split second and the DSC really did a good job there thumbup.gif

Mazda3 is designed to be abit tail happy which is why it's such a fun car to drive. It will loose it's tail rather than understeer which is a good thing. The tail losing grip(up to a certain limit of course) can be corrected by the driver and you have a better feel where the car limit is.

FD2R/FT86 you wouldn't have a chance against these, the rest are fair game if they are stock. You getting destroyed in corners is mostly due them all being on manual tranny giving them more control, our skyactiv auto is decently fast in paddle mode but it's no where near a manual trans.
