Checked with AIG, agreed value for 2015 HS is only 88k ! That's a lot of difference considering i bought it 125k last year. How much do you all insure your car for 2nd year?

With such a low agreed value it is no point to take agreed value and pay a higher premium. Obviously the insurance company is playing safe. A fairer value is 20% depreciation or RM100K.

Thanks bro. Went with Allianz, they give agreed value @ 106K.

It may go away after driving some distance and restarting. Otherwise your battery may be too weak to support i-stop.
*
Ya bro it disappeared after restart. But after a while it comes back. Today only 4 times already.
How did you know? Happened to you also?

If you drive for longer distance to charge up the battery more it may not appear back. For me it comes on when I don't use my car for a couple of days. If I use daily no problem.
*
So in a way battery is dying soon bcs unable to hold charge ?

Update: Went to sc in serdang raya, battery health is 98%. They just reprogram the istop and battery system <-- thats what they said. And now so far istop is back working. Hopefully no more issue.

And for info, battery warranty is 60k km or 3 years, 1 time change.

Anyone have this annoying kreeeekk sound coming from the back seat / bonnet area when driving on 'even but not so smooth' road condition?
The sound is like something is touching the metal part of the car and its vibrating and its surely annoying as hell. Asked the sc to check also just now but as usual their response was we have tighten this and that etc. Please anyone knows abt this can share?

Thanks.
Any chance you can change it back to stock settings after you mod it (you know for warranty claim purposes).

Btw bro , you mentioned that day about the tiktik sound coming from wiper cover near bonnet area. Tried looking for the exact spot but dont know where. mind telling me ?
I remember there's one post abt this , complete with picture , but not sure who posted it. I have search through the pages one by one but still couldnt find it.

you are the first one who have this problem, best is to bring back to sc for them to check

go to bermaz sc and not other non-bermaz sc

How old is your car? If more than 1 year old better to press for a new battery under warranty.

Car is 14 months old.
Called them up, they said will change battery and see how. But battery no stock have to wait sad.gif

hi guys,

I was told that the first time battery replacement is limited to 20,000km or 12 months after Feb 2017 (according to Glenmarie HQ) but I have seen post that you guys are able to claim for a free replacement. hope you guys are able to tell me which SC that we should go for the replacement.

Thank you.
*
That is actually true as informed by serdang raya mazda sc, beginning 1 Jan 2017. If you saw my previous post i had issue with my battery causing auto headlight and istop malfunction. But after appeal i did get mine changed just yesterday because i first complain to them bout the battery on dec 30 last year.

Highly likely that none of the owners here started changing the ATF fluid.

Yes, it is considered "lifetime" fluid, because in most mature markets use the car for less than 6 years. Some after the end of their lease period of 3 or 4 years, they swap their cars. So for average for cars like these, the mileage hit should be within the 200k km mark, it is within the "lifetime" of the car.

But for our markets, most of us hold on the cars for at least twice the time mainly due to the pricing and loan term involved. So, if you want to keep your car problem free after 5 years, it is advisable to change it after 3 years, or when you reach the 80k km mark. The factory fill is fully synthetic type, so more durable and technically should last at least 100k km. But have to consider our driving condition where there is a lot of start stop traffic, so need to bring the target mileage lower to compensate for the additional wear. You can start considering it during 60k km.

But for torque converter type transmission, the best method of replacing fluid is through the "dialysis" method where the fluid is flushed out in a controlled manner using a machine which pumps in cleaning additives and then the new fluid. Takes at least an hour, usually around 2. Just the drain method will not allow the fluid stored in the torque converter to fully drain out. These "dirty" portion will eat up the additives from the new fluid fill very fast.

Thanks for the info. my previous car i change the oil every 20k km.

did you notice any petrol smell when you pump full tank petrol? if yes then maybe the filter didnt sealed properly and cause petrol evaporating

petrol consumption is calculate by L/100km, not how much you pump vs distance traveled
*
No petrol smell..
I used rm50 for 120km cos its obvious that something is not right.

Anyway the fc is now back to normal after the 3rd time i refuel. But im still wondering what caused the crazy fc
