I was told the new face-lift M3 SCBS can only support from 10-30km/h instead of maximum speed of 80km/h despite the brochure given by bermaz states 80km/h?
Is it true?

It's true. Last weekend I just had a sales agent at Glenmarie HQ inform me that the brochure is wrong, printing error. And there's also no Lane Assist. I didn't even ask. The sales agent just show me the brochure and cross out the incorrect spots.

I was told by Mazda HQ that soul red only available for CBU unit and not for CKD unit..

M3 is CKD so no soul red

M2 is CBU so got soul red

Try write a email to them, they wil reply whether the soul red crystal for malaysia market or not
*
Then how come the owners list on the OP got list Soul Red under Skyactiv 2.0? And there's even a Titanium Flash. Not in Malaysia is it?

When I rang them up (HQ) early this year to enquire M3 soul red, tht was their reply.. Their local assemble plant not equipped with the painting facilities.. It made sense as I recall only CBU unit comes with soul red.. Thts y CX5 M3 no soul red..

If now available, good la.. Better double confirm...

Perhaps Mazda agent here can update us

Or else ask paultan

I have it on credible info that the CX-5 will have Soul Red Crystal as an option and being CKD. Can't confirm for M3 as yet.

Unfortunately no. Though I believe with Honda's recent sales successes, Mazda can't afford to lose on either pricing, features or premium. Else, they'll surely lose to Honda..again! Contacts either don't know at this time or are keeping quiet about it.. Which is understandable. I did go see the CRV over the weekend and preliminary results is quitegood.jpg... Interior quality & fit+finish was much improved over the outgoing model and it's a fairly handsome vehicle.. And the space?? Wow! I'm 6"3 and built like a tank.. At my driving position, still lots of legroom for the passenger behind (which I can't say for the CX-5).. I don't love it now, but can see myself liking it if forced to choose it over the Mazda.

The CX-5 on the other hand... I love the outgoing model and just waiting for the new one to show up here.. Then can thoroughly compare both models.. Test drive back to back too.. Naturally, I expect the CX-5 to not only drive and handle better than the CRV, but to also look and feel better... Question is, how much of a significance? From videos and pictures, it looks absolutely stunning, HM & I are already in love with it. Personally, It's a car that would make either of us smile each time we walked up to it. So far, it's going to be a tough decision for us when the time comes. So yeah, for now, I'm still leaning towards the CX-5. How about you, which way are you leaning?

Note: apologies for derailing the thread a bit. I follow this thread as others, to keep track of Mazda's after sales service, track record and the engine reliability.. An enthusiast.. smile.gif

It is still a good car despite the lack of Smart Braking System (SBS) which operate up to 80 km/h and Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS). If you are alert when driving you should have no need for these 2 systems.

already driving for mths, just like Ginny said, it is still a good car.
but problem is if you don't have such features then why put it in the brochure? gimmick to attract buyer?
if real mistake then why make such mistake? no one verify the brochure before roll out to public?

I can understand cutting cost due to high tax but not such mistake that mislead the public

I think is that dealer/ branch that did not explain the car well to you, my SA did not give me the new brochure because they know there are errors in it.

By the way, I'm owner of Mazda 6 machine grey metallic. My post in Mazda 6 forum.

I agree that many customers know more abt the car than the sales or customer service people

Not just mazda but other makes as well.

I dont think they train sales staff properly nowadays
