But, I tried the new version of BitComet 0.92 without connecting to PAW or any proxy or any VPN and it works great... I got 90kB/s

if not mistaken, bitComet 0.90 onwards comes with DHE or DHEv2 which is an encryption technology to "bypass" throttling. not sure if it works,but the speed looks better than older versions like bitComet 0.70

how come the new bitcomet don't allow me to lower my upload speed
whatever number i put less than 10 it will just automatically jump back to 10.
me here using privoxy. PAW never realy did work for me when i tried and been using privoxy ever since.. works with utorrent .. tracker connected.. international peer connected BUT NO INCOMING CONNECTION FROM THEM... zzzz got oso 0.1 - 0.5kb at most..
gonna try bitcomet back.. the upload limit is annoying the hell out of me

It's works sometimes for me. Most of the time i get Proxy connect error : offline (time out). Using Utorrent.

I have a problem with my port..Using Celcom Broadband at my hostel..Can connect to tracker, but my port is blind..So, people cannot connect to me, hence I can't seed file that I have downloaded..

Anyone can/have solve this problem...

It works wonders. My ISP started blocking bt trackers and I ended up here. I'm using Ajato (São Paulo, SP, Brazil).

For the ones having issues there might be a quite simple solution:
*** follow the guide provided in this topic but edit the files manually, not using the GUI, and remove the # symbol before the User-agent string. I"m not home right now but I'll try to post what my headers-request file looks like later.

For the ones wondering about the speed, I could get more peers using DHT and my speed kept at 40-50kb/s (max is 64 kb/s). After I used this method the speed didn't change (but I managed to connect to the trackers and get more peers). The method doesn't interfere with speed. If you got problems then it is your ISP. Try Encrypting your connection without allowing non-encrypted connections (i.e. for utorrent set the encryption to FORCED and mark the box DO NOT ALLOW LEGACY CONNECTIONS or something like that).

Find out the error / message on the tracker tab. Perhaps your vpn is being blocked by the tracker? or your vpn blocks it?
