looks like good news (at least for some) but who knows about tmnut turning back the screws. if you haven't digest this something to chew on in the meanwhile: http://www.azureuswiki.com/index.php/Avoid_traffic_shapingand http://www.azureuswiki.com/index.php/Bad_ISPsboth tmnut and jaring ARE in the list of Bad ISPs. (do i hear "malaysia boleh!" ?) check out the "level of encryption" to avoid being traffic shaped. tmnut's is a "?" while jaring is "2+". applies to azureus only. for utorrent (i think) do not have option for level "1". if you read the title of columns as the "screws" you can see that: 1. jaring users get two screws (col 1 & 5) 2. tmnut users get one screw but should be 2 (col 1 AND 5, needs update!) and there are a lot of more screws in their arsenal... QUOTE(the65thsquare @ Feb 1 2007, 05:31 PM) Your point being that either way we get screwed left, right and sideways? well, yes, and the other point is how to avoid being screwed for now. sometimes i wonder why all your expectations are so sky high given the wide "support" for "malaysia boleh" and the constant condemnation of tmnut? why don't some of you go work for tmnut and improve the situation if you can. if some can be made to improve by beating them up i would be the first to take the beatings. My BT speeds have been getting better recently, the trackers have been unblocked for me too. I still get better speeds through the VPN, but overall its an improvement compared to the last few weeks.

yo, ive been using bitcomet all along. first was .7 and it was slow and bad. then i upgrade to .87 and it was... even worst. i tried the paw and the 2nd method but it didnt seem to work.
now im using Utorrent. the speed is amazing. maybe even better b4 earthquake. i didnt do anything extra cept install utorrent. proxy not in used either. so maybe u guys can try switchin away from bitcomet.

I use uTorrent and Proxomitron.
My download speed is average 15-30kb/s.
But why the Proxomitron show "0" active connection.
I wonder what's the problem of this..
Can anyone figure this out?

I am using uTorrent 1.6 i used to get (max) 20 kb/s download, after i installed and run PAW, my d/l speed is touching up to 60 b/s on a good day. 20-30 would be my average. The most important thing is i am able to connect to trackers.
end of report.
