17th this month... haha.. my dream is near.. 1.70 near looks very possible now.. not for investment.. i change for cash for my trip.

I changed yen 4 days before my trip and ended up with 80k yen hard cash. Have to sell back to the money changer.

lol.. why don't keep it for future trip?

Hahaha, have been there 4 times now. Even have old yen notes from years ago. May have to sell to those collectors for higher price. So lesson is NOT to keep foreign notes. Can keep some as souvenir.

For yuan similar case. Have old yuan notes to sell to collectors !

After a few days of appreciation, MYR start to depreciate

Just a query. When going on tours overseas, are we limited to RM10k or foreign currency equivalent in hard cash?

Assuming that if I am asked to go for a body search and any excess funds are discovered, will this be forfeited?

I was informed of this by the tour leaders during some of the holiday trips; should spread out among the family members if more than 10k.

But its alright to carry a bank draft if need to bank into overseas account.

So far nobody do body search on wallet

Like I said some people bring sgd30k in wallet before, not stop.

it may weak RM vs USD further, which may cause problem for inflation front as well..

but good news is Cost of funding for banks will lower..

also our loans payment..
