Just a query. When going on tours overseas, are we limited to RM10k or foreign currency equivalent in hard cash?

Assuming that if I am asked to go for a body search and any excess funds are discovered, will this be forfeited?

I was informed of this by the tour leaders during some of the holiday trips; should spread out among the family members if more than 10k.

But its alright to carry a bank draft if need to bank into overseas account.
