transfer your money to their account. Call your remsier to inform about money has transfer.

question on maybank account, which should be the way?


1. I deposit rm8k into the premier 1 account, and sometime later when i feel like buying, then i just click in the platform to buy and they auto deduct my money from premier 1 account

2. my premier 1 account is kosong, when i feel like buying, i click in the platform to pay, and then will they show me the amount to pay? then only i transfer money to my premier 1 account?

3. my premier 1 account is kosong, when i feel like buying, i calculate myself the estimated price, then bankin that amount to the premier account, then only goto platform to pay and then they auto deduct my premier 1 account

I believe you using Nominee CDS.

You not aware CDS nominee has margin and cash type. Im not sure which one you are having.

1) work for Cash type and Margin type

2) no such ting - except you open two browser at different PC. Never try before login to Online Trading and Online Banking Maybank2u same time

3) work for Margin type.


the reason it hv margin -allow investor to buy even without money - after t+3 you need pay.

Dont forget - broker fee will be different for margin and cash upfront. Margin has higher broker fee

Any one what is the charges for dividen, if you use nominees account for maybank trading platform?

rm2.50 each time dividend receive to bank into your bank acc.

any idea if we can trade odd lot shares on maybank platform?

Hi Sifu, quick one.

Lets say i purchased a stock of a company and the company pay the dividend to maybank investment account. Since the account is nominee account, the dividend will be sent to Maybank.

Can I know:-

1. How will i know if the stock I purchased give out dividend?
2. How can I get my dividend?
3. Any charges for withdrawing my dividend?

CDS =Bursa account number -to identify the stock owner
Trading Account = Investment Bank account number. to identify you are IB customer which they manage your Acc.

1 ) before buy pls check at
1.1) general infor the company thru IB Online Trading System
1.2) bursa website filter the company any dividend
1.3) see newspaper at last page of biz stock- see Dividend ratio
1.4) use filter screener - http://klse.neobie.net/quote.php of all the stock
1.5) Buy Reits or BOND - comfirm give Dividend - vs other sector stock which depend the company promise to give

1.6) Ask your remiser - sure they can give you tips which company give.

2 ) Bank to your current accout. Each time div received they will charge rm2.50 for Nominee CDS only.


3 ) You can transfer $$$ to maybank Saving account- thru online trading system maybank at Cash Withdrawal menu

All this can explain by your broker/stockbroking/remiser. Buy them a StarBuck coffee & ME.Recomend you broker2
But you must do your homework to understand how the company give the divdend.

hi guys..some noobie question..if i am selling a stock on maybank2u..i sell 2000 best selling price..but the status show someone bought 500 of it...and status is partially matched...this mean the maybank still going to charge me the admin fee??

what if suddenly all qty sold matched before 12pm....this mean i will have to pay twice the comission? or only 1 time?

I wanted to open CDS account but very difficult to find time to open as it only open during weekdays and selcted branch.
Whereas nominee acc can open anywhere.
Please help
