Btw, my test transaction for Shopee today was to Digi postpaid using seller Kuching1. Got 1% rebate and super professional and fast. Good communication and payment done within half an hour.

Am testing other sellers too. One hasn't responded to me since Saturday... Which is worrying.

Regarding the time zone issue using Cybersource (Shoppee), my transaction at 8.30am was correctly reported as occurring on 6 February, and hence eligible for the cash back campaign.

As I mentioned earlier, my transactions between 3-4am using Cybersource on Zalora were incorrectly posted a day earlier.

Not sure what is the "cut off" time for transactions to be posted on the correct day. Hope others will share.

My transaction time was at 12.30 am but am unable to view statement because I used my supplementary card. Really hope it's stated as 6/2/17.

As a principal, you can call CS and ask them to confirm. I always do this when my supplementary cards make foreign currency transactions and I want to know the final amount posted.

Week 13 I got RM50 too... But its strange as I was expecting only RM25.

I spent exactly RM500 (principals and supps) on Monday and stopped tracking after that, because didn't think there was a chance for spending after Monday.

This may mean that quota ran out later for that week. I can't trace back because too many supps with their own statements. Anyone else spent after Monday and received cashback?

Just submitted my online application form for PB VS, and will submit documents on Monday.
Anyone knows how many days for processing, approval and card sent to new applicants?
The 3-piece luggage bags set are very attractive!
Btw was torn between applying for PB World card as it gives 10% CB for dining & groceries, but seems it is a temporary promo. Better secure a firm 6% CB card first
*
I have both and prefer VS because cashback is a permanent feature and covers online spending.

If you're approved then can get WMC to use during promo periods.

Wonder what's the next cashback campaign. Hopefully this is not the last one.

Over the years PBB runs many many similar campaigns, sometimes back to back. Don't think it'll be the last.

ya, the status is "to receive", which means I need to click on "order received" once mytnb reflects the payment.  If using uob payonline then it's tedious as have to manually key in the account number and error prone.
ok, I shall wait for 1 to 2 days.  1st time using shopee so not so sure.  thanks smile.gif

When he completes payments, he will usually give you a screenshot of the UOB Payonline status. He is very active on chat, so you can try asking him he he has done yours already.

Probably overwhelmed with orders smile.gif

I just checked in shopee and followed the mentioned user/shop.
But i can't find the special promotion about 1-2%.
Is it limited time only?
*
Yes he did it for 2 days only, ended on Monday I believe.

Can shop around for other sellers as they often have different discounts. I used Kuching1 before who responded to me in 15 minutes. He or she offers 1% for A LOT of different types of bills. Rule of thumb is check their ratings.

in CIMB thread, which seller giving 2% (RM98) for TNB bill payment of RM100? this is better deal than most 1% discount  sweat.gif
*
Oops! Sorry - Just checked back my transactions and my 2% comment was slightly incorrect.

markjs94 was providing 2% on TM bills (RM98 for RM100) and 1.5% on TNB (RM98.50 for RM100). Both were marked as limited promotion, and can't see them anymore.

Think we have to check regularly for the promotions.

you topped up 1k in 1 go?
*
Topped up RM800 (200 x 4 reloads, but only one payment) on 2 cards using my principal (to keep below RM833 so that I maximised the standard 6% cashback).

The first RM200 was spent by sister on supp card for online shopping around 1am.

On weeks when I had lower spending I asked my supps to do all their transactions before Monday lunchtime, then I spent the remaining amount to reach RM1000.

Now that the cashback promotion is over, feels so strange not having to plan my Monday spending. Also feel like 6% cashback is insufficient after being spoilt with the additional 5%. Really can't wait for the next round. Generally, this seems to be quiet period for many credit cards with hardly any "real" campaigns going on.

Kinda alarming that there is no news of new promo yet. It was back to back to back previously. Even overlapping.

Yes you're right. I remember the time there were 2-3 in one shot and many were strategising which ones to sign up for and timing lol. The good old days.

Now the only PBB promo that I'm using is the WMC 10% on dining and groceries. But finished my quote for Feb already. My PBB VS cash also all maxed out the standard 6% for Feb. Hope something good for March!

Last year I sent my 3 months payslips to CS via email and made a request there. But you should call CS to confirm if this is still the procedure.

Yes, this is always covered in first page and reported several times.

In general, PBB VS covers almost nearly all Internet transactions, unlike CIMB CR which has many exclusions.

so confirm Paying  cukai taksiran/DBKL via UOB Pay Online is entitled to 6%
why some say yes some say no cry.gif

Because some people simply report based on what they think and not actual experiences. When there is a discrepancy in reports, you should search the poster's previous posts to assess their credibility and quality of their posts. Like any forum, anyone can post anything, but you have to assess and identify fact and fiction.

I am telling you, based on my actual experience, and my transaction done on 1st Feb (and for many years), that it is definitely entitled.

I have been using PBB VS for many years, and always pay DBKL via UOB Pay Online (previously used MyEG, but got admin fee) and have always got the 6%.

If you choose not to believe me (and many other users who have reported Yes, and also the first page status), then dont use it. Or, you can experiment yourself with a small amount and track it next month. Up to you. I am only trying to help and provide correct info based on my actual experience. You pick what you choose to believe.
