Yeh I would have thought all his swipes should qualify. But he didn't even get RM20. Guess have to see what CS says or id it's just a late payout.

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Mar 25 2017, 05:56 AM) only umobile equal 2xrm50 Looks like the only one still unaccounted for is Webe. And it makes sense since you didn't get the RM20. But no idea why it would be excluded. Another explanation could be registration problem. Best check with CS in case it affects later weeks too.the rest all random amount, rm60 rm61, etc. yeah, someone called cs asking about it. but someone else reported maxis is eligible and gotten cb. my suspicion that tmonline is the culprit, unless someone with cb can debunk this p/s: no cb in sight today. no hope liao. other transactions already posted. |

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Mar 25 2017, 11:33 PM) yup, my other suspicion would be promo registration. mine done at 7am on 6 March. gotten response back too. Hard luck, but good news is that there are many weeks ahead anyway, I've resent again. Just for reference, my promo registration was at 8.45am 6 March. |

QUOTE(skty @ Mar 26 2017, 08:59 PM) for your info, I have personally SMS to register all my supplementary cards (I have total 3 cards, 1 principal + 2 supp) and the SMS reply say is successful for both of my supplementary cards. For all promos past and current, I mix and match every week with my 2 principals (VS and WMC, which I register separately just in case) and 8 supps. The cashback always always in my VS statement, as this was my first principal card with PBB. for week 2, I spent RM50x8 purely on my supp card no. 1 and for week 3, I spend RM50x8 purely on my supp card no.2. now for week 4, which is starting tomorrow, I have doubt (whether can get this promo CB or not) whether to combine the RM50x8 payments with my 3 cards to also fully utilize the 6% CB. for supp card spending, also not sure the CB will appear on principal card statement or supp card statement. I saw this clause in the T&C too but just to double confirm with some ppl who has already experience it here. |

Haven't been online all day as was too busy shopping (and collecting my 8x swipes the "traditional" way) and was amused by the thread developments. Just some observations of (very) frequently asked and answered questions. Based on previous experience reported from past promos:
1. Utilities restriction refers to TNB and Water (e.g. IWK and Syabas). Telcos (e.g. Maxis, Digi, Astro, Unifi) have previously been eligible for cashback. Even based on Week 1 reports, these seems "safe". 2. Split vs Multiple swipes are different concepts. Split is disallowed, Multiple has been allowed in the past (based on MY experience). Based on Week 1 reports (including my 8x consecutive Amazon gift card purchases all within 5 minutes), multiple also seems "safe". The only risk here is that multiple MAY trigger a card block (it didn't for me) and you will get annoying "multiple transaction" alert SMS. Note - My comments on Split vs Multiple are based solely on experience and NOT the TnC, as "Split" is not defined and there is no exclusion on "Multiple" (therefore, you CANNOT rely on the TNC to complain if you do not get your CB... and there really is no point writing to BNM). As I've said many times before, I have done multiple transactions (both online and in retail shops) and successfully received CB all these years in every promo. And I am also comparing the wording with HSBC's promos where they SPECIFICALLY say things like "Split and Multiple transactions of more than XX times per day will be disqualified", thus implying that Split and Multiple are 2 different things. You can Google all this if you want a technical explanation of what a "Split" transaction is..... At the end of the day, we cannot GUARANTEE that cashback will be paid out, as all this is sharing based on individual users' experiences. Each of us take the risk, and if successful, we benefit from the reward. Therefore, anyone who is too scared or paranoid to test out themselves (or believe the reports) really shouldn't complain if they lose out on cashback. That's just my 2 cents. QUOTE(Joan Loo @ Mar 30 2017, 08:59 AM) May I know if I had registered earlier on for the 10% cash back under PB a world MasterCard, now that I also register for public bank swipe for more cash back, may I know is the previous MasterCard cash back will be void? I haven't figured out the answer this yet. I registered my VS for Swipe More, and I had registered WMC earlier (in Jan) for 10%. Or can I still use PB world master card solely for the earlier promotion to gain the 10% cash back and use PBVS for the swipe more cash back? Note however that I have still not received any WMC 10% cashback for Jan and Feb, but I received Swipe More Week 1 already. Have you received WMC 10?%? QUOTE(pepper_mint2 @ Mar 30 2017, 09:50 AM) im not sure about this WMC but last time i did make a call to the CS and was told once u registered for another new campaign, the old one will be forfeited automatically.... QUOTE(Joan Loo @ Mar 30 2017, 09:54 AM) Normally in previous campaigns' TNC there is a clause saying that the new promo will override the old one (or something to that effect). For example, there is another new promo currently about spending with WMC at some beauty places (like Kiehls etc). That one has the "override" clause hence I didn't register. I checked both promos TNC thoroughly and no such clause in either one. |

QUOTE(Joan Loo @ Mar 30 2017, 11:09 AM) Called CS today. They said that 10% promo cashback still hasn't been paid out. However, when they checked MY account, they also said that I haven't registered by SMS. I was so mad, because I registered TWICE... 3 Jan and 15 Mar, and kept both SMSes as proof. I frankly think they have problems with the campaign, hence unable to pay out until now. Its already more than 8 weeks, whereas their TNC says 4 - 6 weeks, and PBB payout is usually very fast. Quite disastrous! I suggest you call to check whether your registration has been captured. If not, you can send your SMS screenshots via e-mail and complain / appeal. |

QUOTE(gilabola @ Apr 2 2017, 10:32 AM) Doesn't the TNC say that transactions that qualify for cash rebate is not counted as part of the 8x. Payonline would qualify for online cash rebate No - TNC restricts only PROMOTIONAL cashback i.e. you cannot get 2 sets of promotional cashback from 1 transaction. The 6% online cashback is a standard card feature. |

QUOTE(my-logitech @ Apr 4 2017, 12:26 AM) 1. meaning i have rm100 to spend at groceries, i pay the first rm50, then pay another rm50 .. This is OK, as long as you are doing 2 separate transactions. Meaning - You ask cashier to scan in goods until you hit RM50+, then STOP AND PAY. Then you scan in the rest of the goods for RM50+, and pay again. This is an example of "multiple transaction" which is OK.2. sorry i see the wrong month in calendar , i looked at Apr for W2 .. please ignore this. my mistake . However, you cannot do a "split" transaction, meaning, you ask cashier to scan in ALL goods amounting to RM100+, and then ask to SPLIT the RM100+ into 2 transactions. This is disqualified. |

QUOTE(justanovice @ Apr 5 2017, 09:09 PM) May i know from you all, why so many VS holders apply for Quantum? Is it only as secondary card after spending via VS more than 833.33 therefore cannot get any more cashback? For me it is secondary card (if VS quota used up), and also has additional categories like Entertainment and Department Store. |

Did anyone apply for Quantum Principal + Supp together (i.e. on one form)? If so, were they approved TOGETHER, or separately?
