Just went to the bank and they told me that supp card cannot tie the credit card to online banking? Is that true?
*
well, it depends.

in my case, 1 principal + 2 supplementary. all separate statement. All 3 person has their own individual PIB account, so each card is linked ("add card") to each PIB account. Once this is done, too late.

*** currently i'm checking all 3 PIB accounts to check outstanding, transaction history, etc. rclxub.gif laugh.gif ***

there is a user here, 1 principal + 1 new supplementary. all separate statement. Principal requested branch to add supplementary card to principal's PIB (i.e. 1 principal PIB = 2 cards). he managed to get this done.

If i get the sequence correctly (nobody knows what is the actual process), as long as supp card has not been "linked" to any PIB, then you can do this.

in my case, my supp card already been "linked" to its own PIB account, i cannot unlink it already.

i'm planning to get another supp card, this person doesnt have PIB account. I might wanna try to link the card to my own PIB account. let's see how it goes, if i applied it laugh.gif

i think depend on the branch. i went to 1 recently and told me cant coz is separate statement and each have own limit. if combine limit then can. my supp do not have pb account at all.

maybe OUG branch have different protocol since able to do at there.
*
that's the std response script. however, i suspect it's doable, just that we dont know the exact behavior/condition on how to achieve that.

anyone know if TIME fiber payment through TIME portal is considered as utilities payment, which does not qualify for the 1million cashback promotion?
*
should b safe. I've paid maxis fiber for the 1mil promo. gotten cb.

utilities under this context is water & electricity.

Got W12 cb. Surprisingly quota still available almost midnight on Monday.

QUOTE(ytan053 @ Feb 1 2017, 07:06 PM)
Only got RM10 CB for wk 12 despite the spending was RM500:-

a) RM373.90 on Shopee @ 3:21pm (OTP recd time).

b) RM126.1 on UOB payonline @ 3.35pm (OTP recd time)

Statement shows that all the transaction dates were 19 Dec while posting dates were 21 Dec. Either CB runs out very fast or UOB Posonline process/ post the transaction late.
*
what did u pay via uobpayonline?

janson's transaction was done near Mon midnight, also eligible.

I did Unifi through TM portal, Digi through UOB payonline and TIME fiber through TIME's portal for a combination of > RM500, but I only got RM10 cashback in Week 9.

In Week 11, there are payments for Maxis, Digi, Celcom, Streamyx, TNB and water bill for a combination of > RM500, which I also only got RM10 cashback. I think the culprit was TNB and the water bill.

week 9,all done in 1day on Monday?

yeah, i did it in the morning....
that's why i am puzzled which actually did not qualify...I did unifi and digi before and got the cashback....
that's why i suspect TIME fiber payment is the cause.
*
try asking CS. curious to know as well .

1) ask why total >500 on Monday not qualified.
2) what MCC for the TIME transaction. utilities? govt? etc

It is great if you pay the bills in one combination, i.e. buy a RM500 bill and you can choose RM100 for Maxis account 1, RM50 for Maxis account 2, RM50 for Maxis Fibre Net, RM80 for TM Unifi, RM120 for TNB account 1, RM100 for U Mobile Account 1 etc.

...

which seller do u recommend doing combi bill payment with best discount?

my other worries is shopee's transaction date is off few days. if i'm targeting pbb's 1mil promo, i want it to be transacted exactly on MONDAY and preferably posted on MONDAY as well biggrin.gif

p/s: I wonder if someone is allowed to create a new discussion thread only for Shopee Tips & Recommendations and how to optimize using CC hmm.gif

Ok, practising to use that now, didnt know how to use it before today.
My posting date was 2 days later but I still get the CB for Week 12 for shopee spending on a Monday. So I have been using SHopee to hit the RM1k / RM500 on Monday.

Depending on which bills you are looking at, it might change from time to time (some best seller might no longer have the product available and some other buyer might come up with a higher discount). During my last payment, the best for my bills were:-

1) U Mobile - seller "sweetskylal", Reload RM100 but I only pay RM88. That's the highest CB i have seen - 12%, on top of the 6% + 5% with PBVS on Monday.

2) TNB - seller "markjs94", value of the bill payment is RM500 but payment required from buyer is RM492 (1.6%).

3) a) Maxis, Unifi, TNB - seller "lsloke", value of the bill is RM507.50, payment required from buyer is RM500 (1.5%).
    b) Unifi, TNB - seller "markjs94", value of the bill is RM200 but payment required from buyer is RM197 (1.5%).

4) Combination for Unifi, Maxis, TNB, U Mobile - seller "smsbusiness2u", value of the bill is RM1,000, payment required from buyer is RM988 (1.2%).

5) Combination for Unifi, Maxis, TNB, U Mobile - seller "smsbusiness2u", value of the bill is a) RM100 b) RM500, payment required from buyer is a) RM99 b) RM495 (1.0%).

Another TNB bill seller - "viva4ever", value of the bill is 50, payment required from buyer is RM49.50 (1.0%)

I will normally start surveying the bill product one by one and add the the product into my shopping cart. Comes Monday, I will double check my shopping cart and then make the payment.
*
thanks for the tips. been checking out U Mobile - seller "sweetskylal", still trying to find the page laugh.gif laugh.gif will keep digging. thanks again.

I have yet to receive my hardcopy statement... is it because I got online PB to check my credit card transaction the reason they will not send me the hardcopy?
*
when did u first receive the card?

since u just gotten the monthly cashback, i guess your statement date is 4th?

if you are expecting to receive the Feb hardcopy statement, u need to wait for few days to get it printed, delivered to you, right?

is it because I got online PB to check my credit card transaction the reason they will not send me the hardcopy

having PBe online banking to check card transaction has nothing to do with statement generation.

However, if you registered e-Statement, then bank will not send hardcopy statement to you.

I guess i did not register for e statement online..

Thank you so much..
*
u should see the statement date from...

1) the official letter that came with the card.
2) PBe internet banking under Credit Card Details.

registering eStatement disable the hardcopy but email the pdf to your email. however the email is password-protected. just follow the instruction from the email content.

you can also download the eStatement from PBe easily. the PDF is not password-protected.

May I know E-pay transactions eligible for the online cash rebate?

where do you perform epay transactions?

epay portal itself can make payment.
merchants using epay also can make payment. <-- definitely not categorized as "online"

For those using UOBpayonline for your bill payment to take advantage of the 6% monthly + 5% weekly cashback promotion, please check your email notification if all your transactions were approved to avoid missing the 5% weekly cashback!

My personal experience: using UOB payonline to pay 2 celcom and 1 maxis bills at once after midmight last night, everything went as expected with 3 OTP (1 for each bill).  Wanted to pay Astro bill but system was down.  Tried to pay again early this morning at home but received unsuccessful payment message after enter OTP - 3 attempt and all failed.  Tried again to pay an hour later at office, similar issue encountered.  Checked UOBPayonline email notification and noticed that the 3rd transaction (for Maxis bill) was not approved.  Tried to pay through UOBPayonline and Maxis portal - all failed after entering the OTP.  Tried to pay other bills - all unsuccessful as well after entering OTP.

Called PBB customer service, CS mentioned my card was blocked due to too many transactions within a short period of time - asked for the definition of "too many transactions within a short period of time and if this is a new algorithm that PBB just implemented, CS said it was implemented since Nov'16 and is defined as 3 transactions within a minute.  Don't know if the CS is telling the truth or just to "entertain" my query but I don't believe what the CS said as I've been doing the same type of transaction (3 or more bill payments within a minute through UOBPayonline) for last few months.

So  - do check your email notification if your bill payment through UOBpayonline went through successfully to avoid missing the 5% weekly cashback.
*
could be uobpayonline's issue.

this morning around 7am+, i've paid 9 bill payments:

1x astro @ astro portal (principal card)
1x maxis @ maxispay (principal card)
2x umobile @ umobile portal (principal card)
4x webe digital @ webe portal (supp card #1)
1x unifi @ mytm portal (supp card #2)

all total RM1,000.00.

occasionally, i will get SMS alert for multiple transactions in short period: "RM0.00 Multiple usage on your card ending xxxx, latest @ <merchant name> RMxx.xx FEB06 07:25am. Pls call Public Bank if you didn't use it"

I dont get this reminder if i delay a bit, cuz i need to login to each self care portal to pay laugh.gif

after reading your post, i quickly call PBB CS to verify all transactions + amount are recorded in each card. so far, no issue, all captured in their system.
