IT companies and more and more non-related or companies that don't need it are conducting mandatory blood test for employees.

If me, I would opt out of their insurance scheme. I don't need their insurance,I have mine and if they insist, they can go screw themselves.

I personally black list any company that invades my privacy through medical checkups, especially blood tests.

There're plenty of things I can do to earn a living and I won't compromise my rights as a human being and my self respect just to work in a company run by a bunch of tactless bozos staffed with useless HR.

I urge and encourage everyone else, to have some self respect, know your rights, and refuse to bow down to discriminatory pressure.

Love yourself, say no to unnecessary mandatory medical checkups/blood tests.

Bullshit. Those that provide them by force wants to filter you based on your lifestyle and health status.

Only ignorant Malaysians think it's good since most Malaysians are spineless people who have no understanding of privacy rights laws.

Lemmings.

Is a medical check up required before we enter a job in research?

If I graduate with a bio medical science degree, and i want to work in any research or lab department, do they require a medical check up?

And if so, will Hep. B cause me not to get the job?

Thanks in advance =)

Yeap, I think it's a normal procedure in every company.

you can check yourself, privately.

The ignorant ones are the dumb tards who couldn't keep their own medical info private and would rather have the employer divulge it internally. You seriously think your retarded employer is going to keep your record a secret ? There're no laws against medical confidentiality mind you.

Only dumb tards would consent to a medical checkup done by others who could then use the information against them.

And surprisingly, they're many dumb tards here who consent when the job does not require it at all, such as IT.

There's a difference between knowing your medical record for yourself, and letting your future employers know just because one is a greedy f-tard who wants to get free checkups where results could be used against them in future.

Balless and spineless people deserve to get bullied in the work place.

These type of employees are the ones bosses love to push and step over because they don't even respect themselves or dare to even voice out anything.

They're definitely the same bunch of f-tards who would divulge salary history even when not asked for it.

Typical Malaysian idiots. Always complain about government and low pay, but yet none got the balls to stand up for their rights.

Complain complain complain but in the end, succumb.

I truly enjoy being a boss and stepping on you sh*tty wage earners.
