it is a crappy phone. but with the price tag, i rest my case. this can be considered one of the cheap android phones....

Did a quick comparison. For RM100 more, can get the Lenovo and RM150 more, Redmi 3S. Double the ROM and double the RAM. At least Lenovo and Redmi have some resell value.

Aside from the phone, network coverage will be an issue since is pure 4G with no 3G or GSM network to fall back on.

Does anyone know why my postpaid sim card not working? It's almost been 1 week since I redeemed my yes 4g lte sim card, went back to the yes store 3 times already still not yet resolved, i've already contacted yes and got a case number though. My last visit to the yes store was today and they told me to send the screenshot about the emergency call only to yescare. My yes 4g lte prepaid sim card is working fine.

Still able to activate yet? Until today, unable to activate. Tried first on wife's Samsung J7 and now it's in my Redmi Note 3. I'm currently running 2 sims. I deactivated my main Maxis sim and run only YES 4G. No service detected.

Really piss poor network. Disappointing.

just bought new J1 2016, everything fine. look like we need to have correct phone. i think we need to have phone with B38 (2300mhz) to detect Yes TDD LTE. no issues like slow detecting, card inactive when put in J1-6.
buying J1-6 come with free yes prepaid sim, it give you 15GB/month for 2 months. im using it now...

Meaning using the newly buy prepaid sim guarantee can make calls to other telco number? I ask is bcos I wan buy the Yes Altitude phone to try out. Does the VoLTE quality really very clear or just normal like other phone?

anyone using mi5 but the LTE simcard is incompatible with mi5? Showing no service/emergency call only. Anyone have this problem?

i dont know mi5, but s7 edge, need to update phone to latest version 1st before can show YES at the signal bar.
