I was testing how many supplementary cards we can apply for under CIMB CR and applied for 2 more. I now have SIX supplementary cards. Maxed out on all my family members, so I'm not sure what the absolute maximum is.

For me, I took the risk and bought stuff from Lazada, Cotton On and MPH (Cyber Monday) today, because I checked back on ALL my statements this year, and none of my online purchases were posted on the same day. I think late in the evening should be fine if you're really paranoid.

I applied for 2 additional CIMB CR supp cards a week ago but now I see 3 new ones in my CIMB Clicks! Gives me a total of 8 cards. Hmmm..Will wait for cards to arrive to ascertain what's going on.

When I applied for my supplementary cards, I assigned the credit limit based on their birthday so I can easily identify them in CIMB clicks. For example, if birthday on 16th, I put 1600 limit. So for the last 2 cards, I put 1600 and 2400. Now I see 1 card with 1600 and 2 cards with 2400. Weird huh.

Really? On the main page I just see a whole list of card numbers, plus credit limit and outstanding balance and payment due date. Can't see the names... Hmm. Yours has names?

Mine, totally don't have. With reference to my earlier screenshot, for my card (principal), I can see my name above the box. Then for all my supp cards, there is no name above the box. Their name doesn't appear at all in my statement.

In CIMB clicks, everything I click also don't have their name. Only the word "supplementary".

If not for the different credit limit, I really have no idea which card belongs to who.

Ohhh!!! Thanks so much. I finally got to that page on my desktop. Yes, now I can see that there are 2 cards issued in my brother's name.

I wonder if CIMV will do a proper check before they emboss and dispatch the cards. Or if they will send me 3 instead of 2. Will update when my supps actually get their cards.

So far my 2 new supp card holders haven't gotten any SMS about their new cards. If I recall properly, normally there is an sms to inform them that cards are approved right?

Yeh, different card numbers. If really 2 cards are issued to my Bro, I'll ask him to give me one just to pay Pos Online . But will have to keep asking him for OTP every month.
