No cash back for CR Platinum for TNB via uobpayonline?

Sorry, need to clarify cause it's not mention in the first page.

Nope. You may used posonline instead but subject to convenience fee.

Ugh, really pissed with CIMB now.

Applied for CMB CR last week through CIMBClicks, immediately kena reject. So okay fine, was considering other cards or even trying to apply at CIMB branch to get that 1 hour approval.

Then today got called by CS about my application, as if it's still processing. She listed my details out to me for me to confirm, read me the T&C of the application, and told me she will send email with requirements that they need from me... pay slip, bank statement etc.

Then when she hung up immediately I got an email saying my application was unsuccessful again! Why didn't she just tell me that in the first place instead of wasting my time for me to confirm my application details.  mad.gif

I got no loans, no bad credit, and this would be my first CC. I definitely meet the min requirements.

So what should I do now? Try to go to a branch apply and get 1 hour approval? Wait a few months to try again? Or drop CIMB and try other banks instead? With first experience like this to apply CC it's left bad taste in my mouth tbh  puke.gif

Sorry for the rant.

Have you try apply from https://ringgitplus.com/en/credit-card/CIMB...MasterCard.html?

You will still be rejected if you apply again now. Why don't just wait till it cool off and reapply again later, say 6 months later? Or you can try other banks.
Just checking if you have any PTPTN loan?

Yes, that's what I'm afraid of, rejected again.

Nope, no PTPTN loan also.

Bill no. can simply fill in and I have been using it the same since months ago and for all TNB bills.
The important thing is the account no.

System allow doesn't mean it's the right number to "repeat".
If you have the bill, use the correct invoice no. (aka Bill Number) which you are paying for. It eases the reconciliation process later by their back-end team.

Well, I don't have and always bill is not with me or sometimes I don't even have the visibility, I checked from online.
Sorry to say, this part I cannot accommodate and moreover I already saved it as favourite. I can't be editing every month for all different TNB bills I have been paying.

Other things I can but not this.

Yes. That is what I meant and I know I can edit but I really don't want to edit it every month. Moreover, some are I help others to pay I can't be asking for their bill no. every month. Not only them, sometimes I didn't even receive physical copy of bill... I'm just a tenant so I can't have full information of online bill. Hopefully the new MyTNB app can accommodate into this. laugh.gif

What do you mean by "not to pay the retail transaction"? unsure.gif
Oh got it, negative transactions is it? That means your cash back is greater than retail transactions?

CIMB is very tricky, for safety purpose just see the amount shown on statement balance. If it's negative then don't need to pay but if it's not, please pay and don't deduct the cash back yourself. You might be slapped with interest due to short payment, CIMB doesn't recognize cash back as "payment".

I have the same scenario like you, as long as the payment can be made by account #, ignore the bill # smile.gif

Hey everyone

TNB's new portal has a payment gateway. Wonder if this qualifies as online (5%) or utilities (2%) or the dreaded 0.2% "others"...

I am going to try, but my billing cycle just started so I would not know until next month. In the mean time, appreciate if anyone who has tried to provide some feedback 😊

Bill date 27th every month, if pay today, don't think it will be processed in time for this month's cycle.

Just found out about TNB's payment gateway this morning.
