When did you send in your applications?

I sent mine on 30 September (for 2 more supp cards), but no response yet. After reading your post, decided to send a follow up e-mail.

They are pretty bad huh?

Yes, I sent to both address from the beginning. You can try only the cardcentre email address but no harm in adding another one address. smile.gif

Yes I emailed both as well because of my first experience where they didn't respond to my application. This is my second round of applying for supp cards now that someone here posted can apply for more than 2.

I'm still considering to go for second supplementary as it seems enough for my usage now unless YOLO is being picky later.
I'm actually more worried that CIMB will remove this separate quota thingy. sweat.gif

Actually combined cash back is the usual practice for all banks but CIMB CR is being generous and follows by PBB VS which needs to apply separate statement. laugh.gif

i see. Thats really generous. So after this I dont have to fight with my supp(my bro) how many CR he is earn since its separate account but using same CL sweat.gif
before this we need to manually calculate and separate the CR laugh.gif

I know what you mean! I supped my Maybank VS to all my siblings so they could help me achieve annual spending. Such a headache to identify each line item every month. But with cimb cr, it's so easy. Plus, principal can view all the supp cards online and in one statement. Very very generous.

I'm not sure if my 2 additional supps will be approved since I already have 2, but if they are, then I can potentially get back Rm150 per month from my 1 principal plus 4 supp. Not bad for entry level card.

Don't mind me asking, are you paying anything for your company or anything? Your expenses seem high in every thread you are active at. tongue.gif

No, not company expenses but lots of claimable allowances and perks (car running costs, medical, professional subscriptions, mobile, travel etc). My husband also gets a lot of expat benefits, which we pay for first and claim later. Generally, kids' education, family insurance, condo management fees, DBKL etc for investment properties are very very high (luckily can pay using CC). But I view these as long term investments and hence worth paying for.

My personal household expenses on the other hand are low. TNB only Rm250 max per month for whole house, and we don't eat out. I try to keep non-essential expenditure to the minimum, and save and invest as much of disposable income as possible. Which explains my cashback obsession rclxm9.gif

laugh.gif Good for you, my company's perks and benefits all cannot be paid from our own pocket. All will be prepaid by company to reduce risk of corruption and conflict of interest. laugh.gif
Now I got it... That's why you need so many cards. sweat.gif

I'm only single and I have been trying to control on my expenses to reduce my cash back obsession.

I think I will keep to 1 principal + 1 supp for CIMB CR. tongue.gif

Wow, that's quite strict. Mine can claim up to max limit, so I guess that is how they control corruption because the total cost is already factored in. If we don't utilise, it's burnt.

Hehe. When I was single 1 CC sufficient for me. Using PBB VS plus CIMB CR definitely can cover all my needs.

On a CIMB CR and supps related note. I found that best way of paying supp cards every month is to pay total to principal and then call CS to do transfer. Takes only 1-2 days and no need to pay multiple IBG fee. I did this last month and found it so much easier.

Yes, for some benefits I will pay and claim later. Like optical, health screening. tongue.gif However, all business trips like flight and hotels will be prepaid by company and we are all supplied with a corporate credit card to pay for our business expenses.

Anyway, I think by paying RM 0.11 is easier than calling CS, no?

I'll do anything to save 11 cents haha. Plus, for 4 supp cards, it's 44. And of course I use office landline to call while cimb kindly puts me on hold.

Also paranoid about incorrectly transferring money now got so many principals and supps across various banks.
