Hi Sifuus, I'm currently using 195 55 15 PS3 and 2 of the tyres need to be changed calling few tyre shops but all of them said no stock. Except 1 shop said need to book and the price is not cheap they said. Later they quoted me RM290 a piece.

Could anyone please advise alternative tyres of that size that not too pricey compared to that RM290 PS3? My main concern is driving during wet condition (aquaplaning & wet braking).

Driving Proton Persona and located at Klang/Shah Alam. Thank you in advance Sifuus.

Experienced both before and generally prefer the Pirelli P1 Cinturato.

Had the 16" XM2 on City 2010 and its good only in its first year, gets very noisy and ride becomes harsh after that...

Installed the Pirelli on different cars, had it on my mazda 2 and mazda 3 and they perform ok until I had to replace them after 4 years due to compound hardening. The noise only comes when the compound hardens in its 3rd or 4th year...

But plan to move to cheaper or equal priced Continentals such as UC7 as found many good user review. Wondering if any comparison between Conti UC7 vs Goodyear Maxguard for my next tyre change?

Need some opinion. Currently using myvi g3 standard rim and tyre. 185/55/15 goodyear assurance tripplemax V1.

I think because of the tyre noise, passenger feel like im driving faster than im really am. So i’m thinking to using a quieter tyre.

After further research i think continental UC7 to fits my need of having quite tyre without having too much compromise on performance or wet safety.

My only concern is below:

1) would it void any warranty coz UC7 smallest size for the standard rim are 195/55/15. While the original tyre are 185/55/15

2) if i turn the steering at full left or right, would the tyre hit the fender?

3) does the slightly wider tyre increase fuel consumption by alot? Or it’s minimal for example less than 5%?

4) would it affect the various ADAS feature?

Just get a professional tire shop to check on the tire condition, if tires are kept well they can last around 10 years without issues so why worried about the date?

if the previous owner did not take care and always hit pot holes, even new tires also cannot last.

1st of all, what car drivetrain you driving? if FWD or RWD can just change 2pcs and new tires put on the rear if all is the same size.
