Check your bumper if it has sensors or not. Easy to spot.

JB no idea but over in PJ / KL, there are 3-4 reputable workshops who can handle smart cars.

All smart cars sold here have no reverse sensors. I have to install one for my forfour 2 years back.

that's nice.....meaning that it has all the features needed to keep the driver and passenger alive during accident....

how about maintanance wise......does the original parts tend to be more expensive and do you need to go to special service centre or any experience mechanic will do....

dun get me wrong, i am not trying to say smart is bad, its just that i am also contemplating of getting for two......damn cute car......

also, i am more worried of spare parts.......like some of the ford cars, the gear box damn expensive....

My cousin is owner for 2 unit of Smart 4 two, what i can say is, quite good and comfy, maintenance wise very easy to settle (but they throw the ball back to the Sales person la..) and any other things, i dun see my cousin complain about it, instead they complain lot about their Alza...

~yang saya tak boleh tahan~
they can park both car together in one parking spot instead of 1 each!!!
come my house dun worry not enough parking at all...lolz!

Isn't the for four a Mitsubishi Colt in a fancy dress?

The fortwo is developed entirely by Mercedes.

U can try Keng Chuan Electrical Auto Service in Sri Damansara. They do mostly Mercedes and have access to smart parts. Price usually cheaper than German Motor or HSS / CCB.

If u are adventurous, many Proton / Mitsubishi parts are compatible with the forfour.

Thanks so much for speedy response. I have read each threads in this forum and got your tips on compatible parts earlier.

No problem. I'm an owner of a 2006 black/silver forfour myself. Normal maintenance is almost like a Proton since 60% of parts is Mitsubishi. Only electronics and body panels are from Mercedes. Being plastic, chances of being dented by other cars is minimal unless accident.

I'm an owner of a 05/07 black and silver forfour smile.gif I have just changed my clutch motor (!) and am advised to also change the clutch pad / plate (can't recall) Is it compatible with waja? Where would you recommend? And any idea how much it would cost?

Thanks so much....

Clutch not compatible with Waja or any Proton parts. U can use 2004 Mitsubishi Colt. Advice to bring a sample when sourcing the parts yourself.
