Should I go for palit super jetstream or zotac amp extreme 1070. Couldn't make the decision...palit cheaper but zotac 2 + 3 years warranty.

I think zotac would be a wise purchase but still I'm tempted with palit price

QUOTE(shikimori @ Jul 1 2016, 12:04 PM) thanks for sharing , I guess I can still use the processor until it completely hold me back . Better than mine on temp, but mine is inside an SFF case. 2012 core 10800 memory 78C temp. your scores are very good, I'd say. Cant really push my 1080 much anything more than 2025 core will crash . Temp is around 72c is that good for full load ? |

QUOTE(marfccy @ Jul 2 2016, 04:20 AM) this is the FE right? whats your fan curve? room ambient temps? FE. 60% fan all the time with custom V/F curve. Rig is behind TV, with aircon blowing onto it. Room temp 24-26C.my current 780 is chugging at 86C max with just 100/400MHz OC would be nice to see if the new cooler with reduced TDP can decently cool with right fan curve Im not worried about the temp. Core clock stayed at 2012Mhz core clock 10800Mhz memory clock all the time, right up to that 78C. 82C is the throtlling wall, so right up to 82c, your core and memory OC stays at whatever it needs to right up to the maximum you've set (in my case 2012/10800) and the card stays 78C at maximum load, drops to 55-60C at normal gaming run.
