seems like the top tier models for GTX1060 in this country are:

- Gigabyte GTX1060 G1
- MSI GTX1060 Gaming X
- Palit Super Jetstream GTX1060

Leadtek don't wanna bring GTX1060 issit? haven't heard from them lately

These are pricey for just about the same performance as the cheaper Zotac/Palit 1060 after manual OC and boost. Just get any dual fan design and don't care about the bling and you get good value for a 1080p card, I would not pay more than RM1300-RM1400 for 1080p.. If you want to pay more than RM1400, can save RM300+ and go for GTX 1070.

Gainward is no more here, but the Gainward 1060 dual fan model is exactly like Palit 1060 Dual.

why not the zotac gtx1060 amp? RM1xx more for a better heatsink/fan but only 1.4" longer than the mini
looks like the mini runs quite hot. don't think can sustain long sessions of overclocked usage.

mine haven't arrive, so can't do my own testings yet
*
Which card did you get?

QUOTE(deadravel @ Aug 1 2016, 04:55 PM)
ya. the default fan curve is quite suck, better adjust on ur own
but i think if ur case have decent airflow, the temp will be better than mine, my case dont have other case fan
*
I just set mine at 50% fan speed for my Zotac GTX1080 AMP Extreme since it is silent and cools the card sufficiently without any overclock. Idle temperature around 30c and load temperature around 55c so far.

Previously, when I was using Asus Strix Geforce GTX970, I set it at 60% fanspeed using stock cooler. After modding it with Artic Cooling Accelero Extreme 4, I left it at 100% fan speed as it was still silent.

Price in Malaysia is always higher, sometimes higher than in SG too.

This is the Gainward 1060 cooler, is the same as Palit 1060 Dual fan. You can possibly push for better memory OC on cards with pad for VRM, compared to single fan heatsinks that may not have memory pads.

For those that still wonders which model of GTX1060 to get:

TLDR; all pretty much the same performance, but according to this vid, MSI have the lowest max. temp at 65 celsius and lowest noise level with 37 db.

u set fix 50% fanspeed? , i adjusted the fan curved, so fan move according to temp.
the fan is quiet but i scare constant 50% will decrease the life span of the fan? sweat.gif

and my case airflow quite limited, maybe i will try adjusting the fan curve again, urs load temp at 55c with 50% fan which is very good.i guess ur case airflow is very good xia thumbsup.gif
