Hi guys,
Might be the wrong place to ask but I'll try anyway I'd love to learn about scuba diving, I have zero experience at the moment, friends with open water license say can try discovery dives first. However I heard that diving require a bit of 'training' of the lungs. and I also do not know how to swim (a bit of fear as well I might 'drown') That aside, I also wear spectacles, can I wear glasses and dive? Otherwise I can't see shit... And I'll be going to Bali this coming Tuesday, I plan to go for discovery dive; my friend told me it should be around RM 200 per pax for two dives. Either get yourself a scuba mask with corrective lens or wear contact lens.Might be the wrong place to ask but I'll try anyway I'd love to learn about scuba diving, I have zero experience at the moment, friends with open water license say can try discovery dives first. IMO its better to learn swimming first before learning to dive. Just in case. |

QUOTE(patienceGNR @ Aug 19 2016, 02:11 AM) Hi guys, If you're just going to do this as a one-off to try diving, you should be fine if they start you off in a swimming pool or shallow sea (standing depth).Might be the wrong place to ask but I'll try anyway I'd love to learn about scuba diving, I have zero experience at the moment, friends with open water license say can try discovery dives first. You will need contact lenses. If you've never worn them before, it's short notice to get your eyes tested and to get used to them. Let us know what dive center you plan to use, at least we can help you vet it for any potential problems... This post has been edited by wKkaY: Aug 19 2016, 03:20 AM |

Not too sure what dive centre frankly. Where and which would you recommend for Bali island ?You will need contact lenses. Which dive shop you usually go to?Try Scubatex/Scubastation. And also depending on what particular brands you are looking at. |
