Puspakom pass your vehicle without take off any tinted ?
I plan to transfer my car to wife without any loan.
please advise as i hope not to take off the old tinted during puspokom inspection.
*
Yes pass without taking off. At first kind of worried and plan to take the front windscreen tint off since not sure the tint specs after windscreen replacement. For the side and rear all use crystalline70 few years back. Then at puspakom i request them to check my tint first before paying and do the inspection since not many people around. Going to do ownership change once my car in stock and retain my old registration no.

Ya, I think it looks good together with the boot lip spoiler. The cost is also not that high ~USD45, but to install it functional needs drilling on the roof. Unless as a cosmetic mod only. Can buy it pre-painted based on the different part no's in the link below:

No la this is not correct. My previous Kia Optima K5 (which is quite a heavy car), I can easily get about 480km in 100% city driving and I don't drive economically since I installed a booster. That's with a 70L tank.

Even my current F10 520i I get about 470km per full tank in 100% city driving.

Civic tank is 50L right?
*
Let me clarify... I benchmark Civic VII and Civic VIII 2.0L fuel consumption in City driving.
Cannot reach 400km per full tank in City driving.

After swap to Type-R engine... even 300km in highway driving is a struggle. laugh.gif

So possibly their tanks are smaller since they are C segments.

D segment tanks are usually 70L.

My Photodon Screen Protector just arrived today - will install it this weekend - Just for reference, I bought the Honda Civic 2016 EX/EX-L/EX-T/Touring 7-inch In-Dash Screen Protector - Film-Type: MXO. Arrived quite quick. It took 10 days from order to delivery.

Buying directly from them costs USD19.75 shipping, but the screen protector itself costs USD11.95. I bought 2 units so it's cheaper buying direct from Photodon (me and my wife's car). Amazon I checked on 19th was slightly higher back then. It's slightly cheaper now. Didn't know there was an interested party to buy here in Malaysia so I didn't ask.

Booked mine 1.5 TC at Millennium Auto on 8th May 2016. Was told by SA that my car will be ready end of july / early August. Loan approved and no plat ready. Color - lunar silver. My other friend already collected his car yesterday ( prebook in May) . The only different is color (modern steel). Why lunar silver is in great demand or I have been fooled by my SA?

With that kind of money, can buy at least 2 pieces of high quality ipad screen protector. Why not just buy those and cut to size, save time and save cost.

And there's really no need for screen protector as 99.9% of time, you're using your finger tips to operate it. If you say want to avoid finger smudges, the protector does help initially but after sometime, after wiping it countless times down the road, the oleophobic coating also gone.

Unlike with the smartphone, where you put it in the pocket with keys, coins or other hard items which can scratch the screen surface. So have sense in applying a screen protector. Even for my own smartphone, despite only using side bumper type of silicone casing with no front flip cover, i didn't apply screen protector and till now, i hardly have any very visible scratches after almost 3 years of using it.

Here's an idea, for those who go do coating on your car, might as well request them to help you coat the screen. The vendor may feel puzzled but, i don't think they will charge you extra for that. Since the coating can help protect the car surface, it will also do likewise on the screen right?

Yup, of course you can. I just like having something made specifically for the 7" player rather than having to cut things down to size. There are other alternatives of course, but right now, I'll be using Photodon's.
