Because if u use 4g modem then you can only be connected to 4g signal by Yes and there is a monthly quota allocated. |

yes has poor coverage in KSL city. One bar for LTE all the time but not moving.
95% time no internet access.
Only a small corner near to hotel side has 5G 2 bars coverage.

Mid valley southkey also so so only. Only LTE most of the time and again some spots in the mall even with LTE coverage data is not moving g.

Maybe city centre they only put few 4G towers only, unlike other telcos 1 tower every km away.
Checked cellmapper with Yes 4G tower in Kuching Sarawak, only found like 5 or 6 4G(Band 20/40) towers only. Thats why sometimes weak 4G signal indoors.
