QUOTE(sinisterair @ Aug 25 2017, 02:56 PM) There are some people sells yes id. Pay one time and auto renew monthly. The downside is the id are not from yes officially. So, there is no guarantee it can be use for how long. Yes will block the id when they found out someone misuse it. For me it's worth it. Isn't that called stealing? Taking what is not given? hi guys, I activated my free 10GB yes4G that comes with samsung phone. activated it, and it works on samsung phone. when I try it on sony phone, it doesn't want to connect the Yes4G network. Is the sim card tied to certain IMEI only ? I've set to LTE only, and LTE(preferred), also same problem. in the APN section, it does list down yesnet

Yes uses 4G TDD-LTE band 38(2600MHz) and your phone does support the band. Try contacting their support regarding this

Wait a minute. Your phone has 2 different region model. Maybe you're using E6633 instead of E6683. E6683 does support band 38, but E6633 doesn't support any TDD-LTE bands http://www.gsmarena.com/sony_xperia_z5_dual-7537.phpThis post has been edited by kroul2: Sep 6 2017, 05:05 PM

If it isn't there, that means your phone doesn't comes with TDD-LTE support.

I had talked to the network engineer of Yes in the past and they claim that Yes will disconnect any smartphone without VoLTE capability to disconnect from their network since it's a pure 4G network. So far, only mifi will not get disconnected from their network even though they don't have VoLTE capability. This post has been edited by zher4883: Sep 6 2017, 06:57 PM

Actually Yes is good so far I've been using it for few months. If your phone supports Volte then your connection would not be a problem. I travelled on Public transport a lot only few time I have no connection, that was in KTM and I don't know where, anywhere else it was good. In MRT underground there's good connection as well so far that I have experience with. 😊
