P9 only support data. Call or SMS not working.

Some phone even have TD-LTE B40 like LG G4 dual, can register to YES 4G but cannot work with YES at all.

*UPDATE* manage a breakthrough. after some tweaking with my LG G4 dual, I am able to use the YES 4G for data only. Call and SMS still not working. Better than nothing. rclxms.gif

so any handphone not listed on YES website is try at your own risk.

Hi, anyone had any idea on whether the YES ZOom modem can be used for other things? (other than YES related.. yes i cancelled and they dont want the modem back)
*
There are some people sells yes id. Pay one time and auto renew monthly.
The downside is the id are not from yes officially. So, there is no guarantee it can be use for how long. Yes will block the id when they found out someone misuse it.
For me it's worth it.

does anyone know YES tumpang under bandwidth of which telco?
*
A school near my home have a yes tower. Under the bestarinet program. Maybe that's why the lte signal too is strong in my area.
Assuming the program is in sarawak, you should notice that tower in the school.

Yes is superior in my area. Due to location of towers in schools. IMHO, yes should focus on broadband. RM30 unlimited quota @ 3-5Mbps speed would win a lot of customers.
Use prepaid packs is surely tempting for families with school children. Maybe a jump in ARPU.
Not many families in rural area would fork out rm89/month ecluding tax for a fiber broadband.
Some kids come to my house request help to use the internet on their laptop. Kampung tanpa wayar is not a good project.

after so many years paid cheap rental to the schools, I wonder how the reasonable price will be.

Sometimes we wonder how the ministry makes all the calculation.
Just like supplying water to singapore.
Assuming the towers stands for the next term, ytl must come with a better solution. Either offering better package to users or sell this business to other operator.
Konfem package is very nice actually.
