if want to overhaul, better take full overhaul so next time wont need to operate the engine again.
after overhaul can drop in a BOT boost 1bar.

Yeah, that's right... nod.gif

mangsa_prejudis : oh headlight keke, which year r u using? 2001-2003 one got, the rest i canot find any yet. unless u go for retrofit, 2 of our member did it, but they r not so active lately.
tcl_dreamcast : yeap i did smoke my headlight. actually it depends on workmanship. it wont crack if they know what they r doing. for my headlight it has no problem for already 2 years. but u cant direct spray water with those pressure gun at high pressure. it will have some mist inside it and gone later.

Nice job on the headlight, looks way cooler than the ori one... I still got my JN15 Pulsar headlights, grille and bumper, they look really nice but some told me that it can be installed onto my B14 without mods and some say cannot becoz brackets are different... unsure.gif

vanquish : oh that means u still keeping the sets of light, grille of it? bracket can be modded ma. hehe sure cool. install it lah. btw my fren is looking for B14 GTS bodykit, and also B14 clear front headlight. anyway u can locate it?
*
Yes, I still have the JN15 body parts... Let me double confirm with another B14 owner first coz he got JN15 parts installed on his B14 and he told me he didn't have to mod anything (except the fenders)...

GTS bodykit if ori Nismo one super-duper expensive... Just the front bumper is oredi RM3K... B14 diamond headlamps can go to PH Auto in SEA Park, PJ to buy... Or go direct to Tan Chong to buy...

it's the game of torque i believed biggrin.gif

haha, imagine u dun have to rev high when going uphill with sr20, while with sr16, u probably need to shift to lower gear n tarik a bit, then oops, vvl terbuka~ tongue.gif

i see that the new Sylphy engine is optimize towards torque than hp.... guess will provide better drivability happy.gif
*
Yeah, I know what u mean... But so far my SR16VE hasn't displayed any lack of power going uphill...

You are right. They tend to follow whatever Japan calls them.

That's becoz most of the Japanese cars there are directly imported from Japan...

Don't Say Sentra 1.6 Auto Underpower.. Sentra 1.6 is the exhaust problem.. after changed exhaust your car will better than before more... but don't get the cheap exhaust lah.. get the exhaust got name de.. like.. SpeedWork de Hotbit exhaust...
*
Yeah, your exhaust system plays a very important role in engine power and efficiency... My car is currently undergoing some modification of the mid-section exhaust to increase the diameter to 2 inches to ease the exhaust flow...

of course they have to do that, they have no space for an assembly plant  laugh.gif

exhaust design is an exact science dude need to generate low pressure chambers to increase exhaust velocities
*
Errm, you didn't get my meaning correctly... I said that becoz there are other cars imported from other countries besides Japan, but most of them are from Japan... I didn't mean anything about Singapore not having enough space...

I know that but with a very low budget, I can only make some small improvements in the existing exhaust design...

If you change the exhaust, the FC will be higher, but more power lar for sure.
*

It depends on how big the exhaust is... Exhaust that are too restrictive will hamper the power of the engine, hence increasing FC... Exhaust that ease the flow of the exhaust gas will help the engine work more efficiently, hence improving FC...

Well, due to the high pressure, some water may sip into the headlight unit, causing "internal water flood" in the headlight...

Check the antennae connections, this you have to take it to the car audio shop so that they can take out the head unit and check the connections at the back...
