QUOTE(danmooncake @ Oct 6 2020, 10:32 AM) Guys, you know what? They outta to make an ETF that tracks the infection rate of COVID. OMG! stock market really becoming an online casino.....can bet on just anything....now covid infection rate, tomorrow might be number of seats for either party....officially a casino.... This ETF will gain $1 for every new infection rate. We will be very rich now if we can invest in this instrument. |

QUOTE(danmooncake @ Oct 16 2020, 02:09 AM) Oh crap......bears mounting attack again. bears are so weak without confidence. rebound so fast whenever bears tried to head up. I need the bulls to hold the line for one more day, then I'm home free with ang pau again otherwise it's going to be chap fan meal instead steak dinner. |

what price is a good entry for TSM? I've been wanting to buy it since 3 years ago....damn....still don't know when should i pull the trigger....
38x PE is not cheap.....but NVDA is 102x now but it should be much lower by next year.....However, between these two, i prefer the more versatile TSM on its business perspective regardless of valuation. This post has been edited by yok70: Oct 17 2020, 12:05 AM |

QUOTE(jasontoh @ Oct 20 2020, 12:29 PM) Why Biden's win will be better in long term? Two things i look at Trump, low corporate tax and low interest rate (QE), are both sideline support instead of direct support of economy. Also, they can't overcome the damage made by his rise of international conflicts towards china, Europe among others. Secondly, his old school economy focus is bad for the future. He anti high-tech businesses, and he supports old economy businesses such as oil, property, physical retail businesses etc. Overall, the damage are way worse than contributions to the economy in long term. The way I look at it, Trump more towards business friendly while Biden is not However, i have no idea how Biden's economy strategy would be. This is how i look at it. This post has been edited by yok70: Oct 21 2020, 12:05 AM |

QUOTE(danmooncake @ Oct 23 2020, 01:12 AM) Actually, I sell the dip.. hoping the dip won't go lower otherwise I'm committed to buy by the end of the week (expiration). ya, sell the dip = bullish on market right? that's what i mean. haha! Now, the bulls are still holding it above the level I sold.. so maybe I can keep my ang pau again. No wonder insurance companies can earn money this way. Just sell policies. Earn the premium collection every time they're due. But, there's always one looming disaster which they dread. Hopefully, it will be very few and far between and can earn more than actual payout. |

QUOTE(danmooncake @ Oct 23 2020, 01:47 AM) Let's say I'm think the market can at least hold here but not bullish enough for it to balloon up much. Understood. I think it's going to be range bound in middle to the upper part of the band (50ma). Also, the market is expecting another stimulus plan (aka helicopter money) from the US govt for the COVID19 relief in 2 weeks. I doubt the Congress/Whitehouse can agree on this prior to the Election. It could react negatively too if there's a major collapse. Lets see if the earnings season could push market up before it melt down if it would, which will somehow neutralize the market's final performance. In fact, quite a few stocks experienced this kind of movement in the past few years, for instance Apple. This post has been edited by yok70: Oct 23 2020, 06:18 AM |
