Just wondering, what limits you from getting more platforms, in fact just 1 more.

It's just like you will get different credit cards to enjoy different rewards.  biggrin.gif

Not to put you on the spot, I always see people shouting disadvantages of MYR when USD at peak or strengthening. So what were we doing when USD is weak, i.e. 2011 to 2014, covid lockdown period.

Probably just a slight mindset change will help  thumbup.gif

*
Use Ibkr or TD. They are the best and safest. Cheapest will always be IBKR.

yea i was looking into IBKR... the fee structure is so complicated.. i am with etoro.. and they tell u upfront whn u want to open a position how much "fees" you;d incur if you leverage..

Capital.com too.

anyone here discuss strategy about opening positions on the us stock market? including indices? i am currently shorting nsdq100
*
Just select tier or fixed, click preview before you submit you order and you can see your fees. Tier is always cheaper than fixed pricing.

You can just Google interactive broker margin rate to find out how much they charge on interest.

Etoro is more expensive over long term as they don't offer you spot rate for currency conversion.

Hi peeps, how do you buy US stocks? Say for instance AAPL is $150, buying 10 units of it is already $1500 and need to pay tax for buy/sell/dividend unlike bursa right?
Sorry, I'm new to this. Enlighten me  biggrin.gif
*
There's only dividend tax. No capital gain tax.
If you are day trader, you might need to pay tax to lhdn.

Seriously?  I am at a crossroad on this.
Once the Feds pivots, USDX will drop like a stone.

For me. If good quality companies are cheap, I buy and hold them. It may drop but I think days of 4.2 are over. The new normal maybe 4.5 above.
