Under portfolio analyst section you can run the report.

For nvidia report i feel market might over priced expectation and is disappointed even with strong numbers. Factoring into the circular deal thing
*
NVDA price up is come after the earning call. Mostly.

Since it already reach 200 for this yrs, for me, target is meet.

" circular deal thing" ? Don't always just follow the general news. Think out of the box.

Bought some last week low for the earning play. If earning play disappoints, will keep it for long. It's a good buy.

Well its always a good idea to hedge against downside risk.

Not saying nvidia is bad, just market expectation might have over run the company.

I’ve been waiting for this correction. Hope it plummet more, especially AMD, PLTR, TSLA, INTC. Been shorting these stocks since ATH.
*
Beautiful sight indeed. Keep dropping. TSLA already reach 392 pre market.

Wall Street closed sharply lower on Thursday as steep losses in Nvidia, Tesla, Broadcom, and other artificial intelligence (AI) heavyweights weighed on major U.S. indexes. Investors scaled back expectations for interest rate cuts amid inflation worries and divisions among Federal Reserve policymakers over the health of the U.S. economy.

Then you are not ready for US market. When you feel painful is the time to buy. I have been active buyer. Finally can use my pile.

I sold 3 QQQ put options expiring on 21/11. The OTM put premiums are quite good for QQQ. Just hoping I won't get assigned, but more likely than not, I will roll the positions if it gets too close to my strike price. I am getting the feel of options now after 2 months of trading.

How long have you been holding that position? Borrowing fee should be negligible for 3 stocks, right? hmm.gif

Selling put does not have any fees except for trading commission.
If you short the stock then yes there is a cost other than trading commission.

Since Sept. I didn't check the borrowing fees, but I assume it would be negligible. It shouldn't be more than 5% pa(my assumption)

I know that... but the question posed to me was how long did I hold my 3 Tesla shorts, and what were the borrowing charges. The shorting puts were a separate post and a reply to Ramjade who said he bought stocks in the downtrend, and I was implying an alternative to that was to short OTM puts, which may be even more profitable than buying stocks outright. Premiums shoot up for puts whenever there is a sharp drop in the indices.

Assuming you use IBKR, the share price average 430 and the borrowing fee at 0.4% PA, you are paying 1-2 cent per day. This is a very conservative number, you probably pay the lower end of the estimation.

I better roll my short QQQ puts to Dec31st. I think strike price 545 just about right. Very close to Baron's price. Bitcoin could be another casualty.

I thought Buffett doesn't buy tech stock.

QUOTE
(Reuters) -Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) shares rose 5.5% in premarket trading on Monday after Berkshire Hathaway disclosed a stake in the tech giant, ‌marking what could be one of the final major moves by the conglomerate ‌under the leadership of Warren Buffett.

A filing on Friday showed that Berkshire owned 17.85 million shares in Google's parent as of September 30. As of the stock's last close, the stake would ‌be worth $4.93 billion, according to Reuters' calculations.
