Wall street didn't expect fed to hold rates for longer. They thought rate cut coming.

Market already price in rates to remain. The unexpected was the rate cut for 2024. Market was pricing in 4 rates cut next year. Powell slap them and said 2024 will have less than 3 rates cut, so the market panic.

Also 1 more rate hike this year

When he open his mouth, definitely bad.

Inflation doesn't favor the FED. Put a brake on the market.

Sept is a bearish month.

Overall this week, Bears won and Bulls licking their chops..soon to be steak for Bears if this continue next week.

We're almost back to 3 months low. All 3 major indexes got some work to fight back the weekly uptrend, otherwise well see the 200 dma. sweat.gif

We need more sell offs in the market to weed out more fat. Else we wont get a sustained bullish move in future. If we can get another 10% correction in individual Big Tech stocks, it will provide a nice entry point to add in.
