Bank earnings will lead the way but definitely will be quite uneventful and stagnant unlikely too have blowout earnings compared to Q1 due to holiday revenues

S&P500 bullish when Q1 earning decline -2%. That is due to the expecting decline -6.6%.

Q2 earning might decline too. But better than expecting.

Tonight CPI 8.30am.

S&P is not bullish during Q1 because earning decline 🤦‍♀️ but it is combination of hyped up AI frenzy and talks of pausing of interest rate and expected rate cuts later in the year with soft landing

Q2 will decline because of inflation is still high back then but Q3 might be turnaround quarter if headline with 2 handle come summer during August release of CPI then

I feel that this this AI hype is getting overblown.

NVDA is kinda like FOMO now..It's so expensive.. Traiing PE at 230, forward PE now at 60. Everybody wants in, the paid-analysts calling for buy, and every dips get bought until it doesn't. Then, we'll get crying game when it turns south.. devil.gif

I think I'll park some of my money with US CDs now.. looking for 5.5% yield, maybe Powell and team will jack up another 25bps this week 'coz inflation not backing down yet.
