bro, how mature the combat system of this game is? I mean to say, previous spider man games felt like childish combat while Batman series is really mature, so how about this one? also what is the coolest feature u've found till now according to u?
really glad that u r playing & telling us about the game happy.gif (personally I cant buy this game right now as in short of cash thanks to Over priced RDR 2 & Hitman 2)

The combat system resembles Batman Arkham series, but not entirely. It's more free flowing in the sense that you can string combos like DmC (the reboot, not the traditional DMC games), so you're not locked to a set string like you would with Batman. This is to say you can string 4 melee attacks into a simple cancel for a manual webshot or something else. But it's not as deep and complex as DMC4 or Bayonetta either.

Combat resembles the Batman Arkham games from videos because it has a "push button to counter" mechanic and using gadgets to mix things up. The gameplay system does have a little bit of depth to it if you choose to use environments as well, which is what the Batman Arkham games mostly lacks. This is to say most of the gameplay videos you've seen are played by people who hasn't actually explored the game yet and was simply playing it like a Batman clone, which IMO sends the wrong message.

tldr; it's like Batman Arkham, but not really.

PO for CE ah? I still wondering how to get the CE leh
*
Sadly not CE.. I was looking forward for the CE,
but once 1-2 gameshops opened for pre-order
with the statement “CE sold out”, I just gave up
even to ask for the CE PO.

Went ahead with normal version.

I should be done this weekend, I think - unless something comes up.

I can't answer that easter egg question though, sorry.

Have mine preordered since April. As soon as it was announced told my regular game store, don’t care if PO haven’t open or whether allocation haven’t confirmed, just auto put me in the list for CE first lol if none for the R3 market just downgrade to the next best edition.

I’m a sucker for anything Marvel/DC. So yeah.

I didn’t expect this to be so sought after right now back then though. Looks like the marketing team has done a fantastic job for this game.

The CE has the bonus storyline DLC (Marvel’s Spider-Man: The City That Never Sleeps) which isn't available in Standard right? I wonder if it's available for purchase via the PS Store?

The City that Never Sleeps DLC is pretty much an extra scenario available after the game's launch, it won't just be a 1 mission thing - it'll be a few hours long. Will be available as a separate purchase of course.

Yeah, I read about it, 3 new chapters with additional missions, characters and villains.

Noice, looking forward to the launch.
