The CE has the bonus storyline DLC (Marvel’s Spider-Man: The City That Never Sleeps) which isn't available in Standard right? I wonder if it's available for purchase via the PS Store?
*
If I'm not mistaken, the DLC is available if you purchase the Digital Deluxe edition. Of course, no physical copy for this.

The first chapter in the “City That Never Sleeps” downloadable content for Marvel’s Spider-Man, dubbed “The Heist,” will launch on October 23, publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment and developer Insomniac Games announced.

Here is the full chapter release schedule:

October 23 – Marvel’s Spider-Man: The Heist – As you play the base game, you’ll realize that Felicia Hardy, aka Black Cat, is back in town and she’s leaving clues around town to toy with Spider-Man. In Marvel’s Spider-Man: The Heist, she finally reveals herself. Featuring new missions and challenges, as well as a brand new faction of enemies and three additional suits to unlock, you won’t want to miss it.

November 2018 – Marvel’s Spider-Man: Turf Wars

December 2018 – Marvel’s Spider-Man: Silver Lining
All three installments are available for purchase now via the PlayStation Store for a bundle price of $24.99. Otherwise, each installment is available for $9.99 individually.

The full version of the game comes out on 7th September 2018. The game will only have content update until end of the year (things might change), so it doesn't take "years" for a so called "complete" edition when the complete edition is already complete to begin with.

All open-world games are repetitive to a certain extent, it's a matter of how tolerant you are to such open world activities and if you find them fun or not.

I personally think it's about as repetitive as HZD, which means there are SOME mundane tasks but they are not so dull and IQ insulting unlike Mad Max, Mafia 3 or Shadow of Mordor series for example.

Game isn't very long anyways (average should be 20-25 hours for most people IMO), so even if you do some of the more mundane stuff in the game - it's not like they are going to last like an eternity.

I love HZD and slightly enjoyed SHADOW OF MORDOR but i couldn't finish all the quests. sad.gif Playing HZD again, yes please!

I am excited for this game, so far everything looks good! Though I will definitely wait until 2nd disc starts popping out then only I will buy and play.
And then Odyssey is coming in October! Excited! cool2.gif

Just trying to do absurd web slinging tricks (which NONE of the gameplay demos or playthroughs has shwon so far) is time sinking in it self laugh.gif

It's very satisfying when you chain some absurd web slinging around the city. It's like Arkham Knight but even better because Spidey is way more agile than Batman.

I am only starting the Arkham origins right now. I don't fancy it much because of the camera view is so restricted and weird. I never really like open world games until HZD. That's a lot of expectations in the future. Lol.

Doesn't it seem like Digital is more worth it?

Standard Edition (physical) - RM209 (at least that's the price offered by Impulse and Heavyarm)
Standard Edition (digital) - RM199
Digital Deluxe Edition - RM224

I usually get Physical version of games, only get Digital for Digital-only games.

But now, looking at the price, I'm torn between physical or Digital Deluxe.
