I always find it nicer to clear side quest first before the main story. There is a problem I have usually... if I don't clear side quest first, I won't do it later after clearing the story |

QUOTE(Lynixx @ Apr 24 2018, 07:49 AM) i have the same problem also...i just don't care the fan sound and play as usual, btw my PS4 is Fat version and bought since first launch. QUOTE(ben3003 @ Apr 24 2018, 09:54 AM) QUOTE(LegendLee @ Apr 24 2018, 10:19 AM) Probably overheating. GOW probably pushes the system to the very limit. Not sure how this can be done, but you’ll need to clean your intake valves at the very least. Too bad the original PS4 is quite difficult to clean compared to the slim and the pro. QUOTE(Zeliard @ Apr 24 2018, 10:22 AM) Perhaps u may have seen my post about my ps4 roaring like a vacuum cleaner, and it was freaking loud till u can hear it next room. My warranty was just 3 months lapsed, and it was a Dragon Quest LE. Repaired it, sent it to KLCC. Turned out my Blu-ray player was the cause. Now silent and serene, very happy with the service. Thanks for the advices but, I have no T9 secure torx screwdriver... to open the PS4. |

I doubt there will be trilogy, but there will be next game that's for sure . Several weeks ago the director has said there are no dlc / expansion planned but base on the reaction he seen from the players , it is likely he will at least have some new content planned for this current game . Fact that most developers have taken that long earned holidays right after the game release , but the studio is still actively patching the game . We have already had 3 patches in the last few days .

QUOTE(Convael @ Apr 25 2018, 09:01 AM) Exactly. There a lot of content to explain. More than enough to warrant a trilogy. I’m not saying there will not be any DLC. Backstories or the gap between GOW3 and GOW can be explained as well. But even with DLC. There is more than enough content for a trilogy. Seems that barely anyone even mention anything about the hidden audio quality in GoW and only focus on its visuals. Such a shame.
My review on that is; + The lowest point that this game goes down to is 17hz. There is quite a bit of content that resonates at the 20~26hz frequency, which means good amount of LFE. + This game is a midbass monster, mixed extremely loud at the 50-100hz region. It's insane! + Dialogue clarity is great, not as good as Yakuza 6 though. Bonus when the Sea Serpent spoke, it was F&@!# loud and its voice went down to an insane 40hz! OMG. + Surround mixing is very good. Lots of ambient noises, not overly done - just enough to immerse you in the area. Bonus points of the great implementation of reverb in specific areas. + Soundtrack has hymn waves that goes down to 30hz. Pulsating my couch like there's a giant horn underneath. - Wished the game had Dolby Atmos support. Using my receiver's upmixing option (Dolby Surround Upmixer) was good, but not great. --- To me it really changes the game, when you literally feel the trolls smashing their stone pillars on the ground, it creates a sense of shock. It's simply different of just looking at it and go like "eh okay, he angry, he smash his pillar, yay?". When the Sea Serpent emerged for the first time (no spoilers really, it's almost on every trailer) - it felt like the waves were smashing and crushing against the walls in my room. When it spoke, I could feel my couch vibrate (thus my lower spine) and it created a sense of awe. It didn't just look big on screen, it sounded and felt HUGE. Easily one of the best sounding games in history. A lot of this game can only be literally "felt", not typically heard and most importantly not seen - a shame because the audio engineers put a lot of work into making a game that crushes like a tank, but majority won't be able to experience it. Ok, my 2c. People have been telling me this is a reboot and is based on Norse mythology as opposed to its predecessor's Greek.
The question is, is this the same Kratos? Or a reinvention like Lara Croft which has nothing to do with the previous tomb raider games? Based on my observation in my brief playthrough, this is indeed God of War 4. The way he looks at this forearms is indicative of a reminiscence of the past. Also the witch told him, I know u are a god from another realm. Also if we look at his abdomen, there was a scar, which was most probably due to the injury by Zeus with the Sword of Olympus in GOW2, albeit the angle of the scar currently at diagonally. |

Anyone's PS4 Pro struggling to stay at a steady frame rate when outputing at 4K? My FPS fluctuates a lot and it's giving me a terrible headache
