i see you have RIG... so desktop should be good for intense gaming... nothing u can do hyperthread processor now dead? u sure? hahaha... hyperthreading are grown even better... quad mobile is seems dead... mostly HQ series now..

Any review/commend on the HP Pavilion 15-au102TX? I got a price of 2299 for the model, is it reasonable?

hi guys. need some help here too.

im planning to buy a new laptop to replace my current bulky laptop.

1. prefered brand: any besides dell.
2. budget: the lower the better ofcos. max 3K.
3. usage: for business research use thus mostly using google docs and chrome for research and also drama streaming.
4. prefered: light weight, long battery life. if possible matte screen.


kind of confused should i buy laptops like eeebook which is more budget or ultrabook such as acer swift 3?

what acer laptop u recommend for battery life?

what about acer? everone seem to introducing hp and asus alot but not acer.

if you want long battery life, yes. ultrabook is good choice.
compare acer swif 3 with Asus ZenBook Flip UX360C-AC4010T 13.3" m3-6Y30, 4GB, 128GB SSD, Integrated, W10H,
zenbook wins esp different in weight, display and battery life.. but acer swift wins on performance as it equip with i5 ULV. somehow, there is claim said, the swift 3 battery performance on par with zenbook.. which im not very sure, need to check more on this.

these are 2 types if you looking for battery life.
Acer Aspire One is the longest battery life.
acer aspire S series

for performance series, Acer aspire F series

HP is very pricey,not really much people recommend about it.. especially longest battery life series that could break your wallet.. HP spectre series i not mistaken.. same as dell xps... these battery life+performance superb...

asus meanwhile, normally, people look at zenbook..

its been awhile people leave acer due their own personal reasons and asus starting starting to get popular among laptop buyer choice, so its normal when people recommend, dell or asus more than acer...

but do remember, asus customer service in malaysia is pretty sucks compare overseas. but overseas, its good..

since now acer is different than previous acer... they even have gaming lineup which is very damn expensive than hp omen and asus ROG. i believe the price is more or less with dell alienware...

For acer im actually eyeing on Aspire 13 and Swift 3. Mostly on Swift 3 as it have i5 and 256GB as Aspire 13 below RM 3K is only available for 128GB. Do you think its a good buy?

well, the different is storage...
1 is full SSD and another 1 is hybrid type. 1tb+128gb ssd right.. since Hybrid drives are faster than conventional hard drives. So, even if you went with the one with the hybrid, it would still access the storage faster than most other laptops out there.

but if you only working on words, browsing, entertainment streaming. swift 3 would be good. as storage doesnt need too big, you can purchase external hdd. + cloud storage getting popular these days too. so, keeping work online (as long as not sensitive data) it will be good choice to pick full ssd performance.

Bro, if compare these, which is better? If all around same price.
