My experience as a polo player is try to use to the situation inside the pool. Like what Ben said, push yourself harder. Motivate and b confident on yourself. Try to train more often, maybe 4 days per week. For the time you are training, try to set a target for yourself. Let say 1st few days, u try to set 500m and complete in 1 hour. Then another week increase it by 20 - 30%. By following all this, u will notice differences within 2 weeks. That is what i did when i was playing polo. Hope my experience can help you...
