the nearest pool to LRT station should be the one next to LRT Universiti station.. u can see it from the station clearly..however this pool are not olympic size, maybe 1/4 of olympic size.. as far as i know Bdr Tun Razak pool is far from any LRT station.. i think u need to take taxi from either LRT Maluri or from Bandar Tasik Selatan station..

Hi fellow swimmers,
I would like to take up swimming again. I do swim alilttle bit when I was young, but then somehow during my puberty period as a teenager I rarely swim although my school has a swimming pool.

I would say my standard is er, I can do free style and breast stroke. But I gotta say I move in horrible speed. I simply cant swim like i'm used to while I was a kid. AND here comes the worst part, I cant...stay afloat yet.

Now, I wanna pick up swimming again. I wonder if I go to public swimming pool eg. Bandar Tun Razak and mostly i'll be swimming from the sides to sides (not the 50m) for practise. I wonder will I be blocking ppl who are doing laps. Any guidelines for me, to swim the best I could but at the same time i don't block experienced swimmers?

THanks
luckykid

Hmm side to side is actually really disturbing but since it's a public pool, no one would mind much. Well I certainly don't since you have as much access to the pool as I do. Unless they are training. Then they get sorta mad. You just have to look out for them I guess. They will look out for you too. Why don't you swim full lap?

Simply because i'm really bad at swimming now, If i stopped halfway during my swim in an area where i cant stand, I would have difficulties staying afloat hahaha I guess i better train up in small pools in condos and such.

I 've lost count of how many times I crashed into people swimming widthwise at the pool (Bangsar complex).

And the funny thing is, I was going slow most of the time.
