Are you sure ? I have 2 line . Maxis 128 & umobile 98 .
When I have this lag issues I switch to maxis and no more lag . I dont see all malaysian isp problem . It just umobile .

I noticed every time around 10 or 10.30pm, the data line starts to be very slow. Even 64kbps also kalah. Been a few days. But umobile rep say nothing wrong with their network

I can say UMOBILE do boost speed test website to SHOW OFF maybe.
I tried ping oversea US/CHINA and some other else. Download up to 20mb. But when normal download just <2mb(+/-200kbps).
Test with many server and download server is fine. Tested with maxis(2-3mpbs).

You can select server btw incase you didn't know .

well speaking from my experience, celcom is alot better than u mobile when it comes to coverage.

Share my bitter experience,signed up for BB RM68,Wangsa Melawati downstairs fair upstairs no coverage ! After 2 weeks called CSR to terminate,they were very rude! Sir u hv to go to Umobile service center only to terminate and hanged up.That center was abt 100km away!  I complained to CFM,MCM and in 2 days they wrote to me to email my termination letter and in 2 hours my account was terminated. So unless you are absoultely sure on coverage pls excersise caution before you fall for the cheap rates

guys. im planning to use umobile u28 just for the usage of overseas data with their U Data Roam that cost RM10/day in australia. May i know, is there a problem for me to terminate after come back to malaysia? I know activation for a new customer can be a problem too, but it can be settle with activation of autodebit credit card. How about termination?

Activate auto debit for bill payments, then call us at 1318
Port-in customers can also walk-in with your past 2 months’ bill (1 month with international roaming usage)

Im more concerned about their roaming agreement with their roaming partners. If the rm10/day roaming is no more available, then there is no point staying with UMobile anymore.

So do you guys turn data roaming on so that your phone will roam to Maxis 2G when there is no coverage or this is unnecessary as UMobile will switch automatically?

Guys, I want to MNP from current Xpax prepaid to U Mobile prepaid.
I can just simply buy any U mobile prepaid sim card selling outside, and submit the MNP request at website right? Or need to go the U mobile center?

There's only 1 U Mobile center in Penang and last Saturday even waited 3 hours still not my turn, can't keep go wasting time like that.
