Assuming a song is 3:30 at FLAC format about 35MB. It will take 3:15 to download on 1.5Mbps so it will probably buffer a couple of seconds before play but won't stutter unless the connection speed drop.

U Mobile never give Unlimited things without capping the speed.

U Mobile had disadvantage to start with. They are only assigned with 2600MHz earlier which hurt their 4G LTE coverage.

U Mobile was just awarded with 1800MHz which translate to better 4G LTE performance and coverage and will be up by early July 2017. All these process takes a lot of human resource so they seems to reduce their coverage expansion speed.

Because 0.02Mbps was totally abysmally bad. 1-2Mbps is tolerable but this is just disastrous.

I honestly wish I really could give them time to improve but as time goes on, congestion issue is getting worse and I think it's irrational to give them more. I previously using U Mobile and live in area where it's on the edge of 4G LTE so don't hope for good signal strength, the 3G is totally terrible. It was 0.2Mbps and I gave them about half a year and yet it was still terrible s I complaint to MCMC regarding this. A U Mobile manager contact me personally and said there's no plan to improve their network quality in that particular area for at least a year. So after this incident, I realized how terrible U Mobile is at solving congestion issue and leave me bad impression on U Mobile.

And this is also why I encourage users to complaint to MCMC regarding congestion issues and seek for reply from U Mobile to have an idea does U Mobile had plan to improve their network quality in specific area

I really hope maybe Yes could look to purchase U Mobile and merge together since we have to much telco in market which slowly transforming oligopoly market structure into something more of like perfect competition. If competition are too intense, there will be inefficiency and will be a loss for us consumer too.

Who said iPhone 5 unable to get connected to U Mobile's LTE. So far they already rolled out Band 3 in Kota Belud and rolling out nationwide before 1 July 2017.

They already obtained license for Band 3 and rolling out must complete before 1 July 2017 as per MCMC instruction. So there's chances you will be getting it earlier.

Digi doesn't throttle speed while using Digi Video Freedom while U Mobile throttle Video-Onz so it's technically possible if any telco really want to do it.
