QUOTE(idi0tt @ Nov 25 2016, 12:41 PM) any idea about music onz streaming speed? I.E can stream tidal HIFI without streaming or 1.5mbps like video onz Assuming a song is 3:30 at FLAC format about 35MB. It will take 3:15 to download on 1.5Mbps so it will probably buffer a couple of seconds before play but won't stutter unless the connection speed drop.

QUOTE(kroul2 @ Nov 25 2016, 03:43 PM) Same old story. But pls give U Mobile time. They said U Mobile's coverage people are working hard on improving coverage and speed. Also, don't forget that U Mobile doesn't have as many spectrum as other telco until July next year U Mobile had disadvantage to start with. They are only assigned with 2600MHz earlier which hurt their 4G LTE coverage.

QUOTE(GovinK @ Nov 25 2016, 04:31 PM) when is umobile line modernization will come because quite exciting to have a better line due to the line become unstable right now U Mobile was just awarded with 1800MHz which translate to better 4G LTE performance and coverage and will be up by early July 2017. All these process takes a lot of human resource so they seems to reduce their coverage expansion speed.

QUOTE(izwanikhsan @ Nov 28 2016, 08:49 PM) With other telcos inching closer to UMOBILE offering, will they revise their packages in the near future? Revision of packages? Not within this year, more likely early next year.

QUOTE(JJKTP @ Nov 28 2016, 09:25 PM) They must be pretty confident not to revise their packages in the face of renewed competition. They knew their network is kind of congested right now so they just delay launching promotion just to diminish congestion issue

QUOTE(kroul2 @ Dec 3 2016, 04:04 PM) Once, you were stating these: Then you stated this: Make up your mind, give U Mobile time. If you report to MCMC, can MCMC build a tower for you? Give them time, as my U Mobile friend said to me. They're stress, trying to expand coverage and speed. Because 0.02Mbps was totally abysmally bad. 1-2Mbps is tolerable but this is just disastrous.

QUOTE(kroul2 @ Dec 3 2016, 07:23 PM) Well, make up your mind lor. First, you asked to give U Mobile time. Then, you asked everybody to report to MCMC. I honestly wish I really could give them time to improve but as time goes on, congestion issue is getting worse and I think it's irrational to give them more. I previously using U Mobile and live in area where it's on the edge of 4G LTE so don't hope for good signal strength, the 3G is totally terrible. It was 0.2Mbps and I gave them about half a year and yet it was still terrible s I complaint to MCMC regarding this. A U Mobile manager contact me personally and said there's no plan to improve their network quality in that particular area for at least a year. So after this incident, I realized how terrible U Mobile is at solving congestion issue and leave me bad impression on U Mobile.

QUOTE(kroul2 @ Dec 3 2016, 08:23 PM) This explains why. For your case, it is your right to have a bad impression towards U Mobile. Well, my case is worse. More than a year, my area still got below 50kBps. I repeat, more than a year. Once, I've managed to ask U Mobile people. They said that their friends on coverage department are working really hard to improve coverage, but does not stated specifically where. I believed in them since I can't do anything about it. MNP to other telco, their rates are expensive. At least my experience with U Mobile is sometimes good, but not always. I have to bear that. Well, who can complain with the price And this is also why I encourage users to complaint to MCMC regarding congestion issues and seek for reply from U Mobile to have an idea does U Mobile had plan to improve their network quality in specific area

QUOTE(kroul2 @ Dec 4 2016, 07:20 PM) Tell me guys, what's your opinion about IF U Mobile is getting sold? I really hope maybe Yes could look to purchase U Mobile and merge together since we have to much telco in market which slowly transforming oligopoly market structure into something more of like perfect competition. If competition are too intense, there will be inefficiency and will be a loss for us consumer too. This post has been edited by zher4883: Dec 4 2016, 07:43 PM

QUOTE(yongtjunkit @ Dec 5 2016, 08:19 AM) They are rolling out band 3(lte)? I didn't heard about it, living in pj so I'll guess I'll stuck with 3g till July 2017 then They already obtained license for Band 3 and rolling out must complete before 1 July 2017 as per MCMC instruction. So there's chances you will be getting it earlier.

QUOTE(kroul2 @ Dec 5 2016, 03:29 PM) U Mobile P98 vs Digi Postpaid 110 I think that U Mobile is better. Don't forget U Mobile has unlimited VideoOnz, which means you can also surf Youtube for free . What you guys think? U Mobile P98 -30GB data -Unlimited VideoOnz -Unlimited MusicOnz -Unlimited Call -SMS: To U Mobile: 3 Sen/SMS | To Others: 8 Sen/SMS Digi Postpaid 110 -25GB data -100GB LTE weekend data -Unlimited Call -Free 1,000 SMS | 10 Sen/SMS -Data rollover 3GB Too bad Twitch.tv is not on Video-Onz where some youth spend significant of their time on

QUOTE(Anime in HD @ Dec 5 2016, 04:49 PM) Digi doesn't throttle speed while using Digi Video Freedom while U Mobile throttle Video-Onz so it's technically possible if any telco really want to do it.

QUOTE(MorningBoyz @ Dec 5 2016, 07:12 PM) Not sure is this correct place to post this. Anyway, need some feedback from user who are using U mobile currently. How was the network coverage. Give how much out of 10? Is it always on LTE? Is the line good during call? Also any user from Sabah any feedback? Thank You If you happens to live in Kota Belud, you have LTE-A If you ask me about LTE coverage in KL, I would give a 8 out of 10. Out of KL, 3 out of 10.
