my s7e sent to the sc again today. last month admitted one time due to glass broken, repair cost me ard 1.2k. This time is lcd problem, at the edge of the screen, tiny light dots. Again this time the glass and lcd has to be replaced but its covered by warranty this time. The service guy did said s7e is fragile among all the models and many has sent in for screen repair. Luckily mine at the first place sent to screen replace at sc and is still under warranty. That guy also mentioned some ppl whose s7e submerged in swimming pool completely dies off. I did tested one time but luckily it was fine. So do carry your s7e with extra care.

QUOTE(yarusaru @ Jun 6 2016, 12:51 PM) Actually yes.... immersion =/= swimmingQUOTE IP68 Given the aforementioned information, you can probably figure out that the IP68 rating given to the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is fairly strong. While this means that the phone is completely dust resistant, again it isn't quite so simple for the liquid ingress rating. Instead, it means that the phone is "protected from immersion in water with a depth of more than 1 meter," according to the IEC. The usage case supplied for this is "Rain, splashing and accidental submersion." The IEC requires that the manufacturer itself supplies the precise depth and length of time the device can be exposed to water in such a rating, and in the Galaxy S7's case Samsung says that it can withstand "Up to 30 minutes or 1.5 meters under (water)". Read more at http://www.trustedreviews.com/opinions/wha...1ialwMIvUCkB.99 In other words.... IP68 is to protect against jatuh jamban. QUOTE(Username8118 @ Jun 6 2016, 01:04 PM) The customer service lady reminded me: "This phone is water-resistant, not waterproof ok so please don't go into the swimming pool with it" The watch industry faced this problem for decades di.Too many people wear their 30 meter water resistant watch swimming. Swimming pool don't reach 50m for sure but rating is for the water pressure the watch face while immersed at 30m. Once you start moving about... the pressure against the seals increases dramatically. IP68 is nowhere near 30meters. edit: numbers... brain not working. This post has been edited by sniper on the roof: Jun 6 2016, 01:16 PM |
