Btw, I'm experiencing slight overheating when using fast charging. Should I turn it off because I tend to charge my phone when I go to bed at night.

Yikes phone fell down. Was knock out of my hand at standing height. It flew and landed flat on the ground screen first. Lucky no damage to the screen or dents.  I think the way it lands make a big difference.

Indeed, I was pleasantly surprised by Samsung's after sales service and is up to par or better than apple's.

Just replaced my S7 Edge screen just now at One Utama SC.
I can say it's the best SC. 
Sent at 12:05pm, and i received sms of pickup at 1:05pm.
The quality of the screen is flawless. Its like a brand new phone! 

Not impress. Such a premium device with such "normal thing" 

Did anyone try disabling fast charging?
Both on/off fast charging gives the same estimated charging time (And it did charged within that time)
Can anyone please tell me why????

hi guys, just got my s7e black today.. pretty awesome phone i can say. only pain in the butt is figuring a way to transfer chat history for whatsapp. (nothing came up so far except to buy the paid version of 3rd party - unless i m missing something from the internet)
and its so hard to get a good screen protector?
casing wise i've got the samsung org flip case (the most basic ones)
anywhere in KL i could source for a wide selection of the accessories?

Is it possible to restore whatsapp chat from icloud on android?
I searched the internet and nobody mentioned about that. Only method to transfer chat from whatsapp in iphone to android is through 3rd party app.

Finally gotten off my lazy arse to play with the S7's raw files.

this is as auto as it can be and dynamic range is superb.
havent tried the pro mode + RAW yet 

Where can I extend Samsung warranty? Only in Samsung service centre?

As much as I like seeing texts creeping out of the edge and the wow factor from friends, I f*cking hate the edges.

This my 18 hour first impressions on this phone

1. Unintentional touches on the edges. I probably accidentally touched the home button in chrome a few times while typing this.

2. Introduces glare on both sides. The purple/pink tint on the glare made me think that I had a defective screen.

3. With the extended edges, screen to body ratio increased by 4 or 6 percent,  this is both a curse and a blessing.
(a) 1 being a bigger screen and
(b) I have less metal and glass to hold on to.

4. Battery life is surprisingly good with 6 hours SOT. Did 80% LTE and 20% WiFi with two SIMS. One local number and one number on Roaming.

5. Camera has noticeably lower DR compared to the Nexus 6P. Not sure it's the ISOCELL issue or just Samsung's slightly poorer implementation this year.

6. I feel that this phone gets hot faster than the Nexus 6P as this is a glass sandwich. As we all know, glass isn't exactly known to be a great heat radiator, unlike metal phones which act as a giant heatsink.

Anything else I miss out? AMA

Generally I'm not a fan of cases. And I bought a skin for the phone. So I'll be using a skin on the phone. But I did buy a case and screen protector from Sakurazz while waiting for my skins.

Also, I doubt putting on a case can improve its cooling.

But then you're containing the heat but not actually radiating it out. Hahaha it's okay lah. I'm just nitpicking. Doubt I'll stay long on this phone too. Unless I have to.

damn.. my S7e shows few horizontal stripes on the screen less than 2 months..!!

I guess its a faulty screen.. gonna send it to Samsung Service Center this weekend. hope the honour me the warranty.. Never drop the phone.. just happened out of the blue.. 

Not sure about others who claim the phone is laggy, but for me (have 2 s7e at home), I would say only lag/stutter right after boot up/reboot. Once stabilize like after 1 minute, I do not feel any lag or slow down at all.  Perhaps depends on what kind of apps installed in the phone.got a person in xperia X forum claimed his friends phone only left with 500mb after reboot which is really2x funny and unbelievable.

That person is iFans and regret buy the batman edition. Haha!

I won't said it is 100% free lag because even iPhone 6s plus now also won't 100% free lag.

The most obvious lag S7 Edge is when you press and hold the screen to access below. Samsung oh Samsung when you gonna fix this part.
