I am quite a Huawei fan..too bad their P9 camera is just not as great as S7Edge

I would be using P9 if not for the camera. Its very important for me to have top camera.

Coming from a Z2 the S7e's sound was rather disappointing and needed getting used to. Decent enough for morning alarms and Waze nav though.

agreed with you. thats why i'm happily ditch N6p (passed to my mom) when i got myself S7e. at first thought pure nexus will be smoother (or whatever the terms is) but S7E proved me wrong.
after read his comment, just out of curiosity again (in case im wrong), took my mom n6p (which installed with bare minimum apps), clear running background apps, did the same to S7e (which have around 80+ apps),did like those youtubers, launch at same time (apps like youtube, fb, dialer, contact, etc), observed that either S7E response similar or faster (which something i expected due, after all, it have more ram and more efficient SOC compared SD810 in N6P).

(both phones in stock non-root mode, with animation etc in 0.5x for both phones, both using nova launcher with same speed setting).

anyway,in semiconductor industry, not every SoC/CPU/APU/GPU will 100% match or equal from batch to batch (with minor non-significance difference) thus perhaps that's make a different between those sets around.

multitasking wise i do admit the N6P optimize to hold more apps running in background.

anyway, each to their own. everyone have their own preferences and own life experience  laugh.gif

Though said, it is actually not so fair to compare the Nexus 6p against the S7E due to the S7E has newer and better hardware. However, we are talking about fluidity and smoothness here. Nexus devices are known for the "vanilla android" which on paper, should be the most fluid and smoothest android without the additional add ons by different phone manufacturers. But somehow or rather I find the S7E to be as smooth as the Nexus 6P or maybe even slightly better even with a more feature laden touchwiz. I also find Nexus devices too "bare" in terms of android.

Err.. actually the sound from the Z series is actually not so crisp due to waterproofing flaps protecting the speakers.

I already returned my S7e haha. Im already using a nexus 6P but unfortunately it hardbricked and now in the market for a new phone. Stock Android is the lightest, therefore in theory, is smoother than any other.

How you manage to hardbrick a Nexus 6P? sweat.gif

Previously I'm experiencing data connection problem. Turn on data with 4G symbol, but no data actually get through, but the problem can be solve by putting it on plane mode then turn off plane mode again instead restarting the phone. Anyone here experience same problem as I do & how you you solve it?

I had used all the Nexus series up to 6p ( except 5 n 5x) n seriously supposedly pure Android smoothness doesn't impress me. These days almost all newer high end Android smartphones can easily match N6p smoothness. I don't find the S7e laggy in any way as some users so described
I would say even with TW loaded the S7e can easily match N6p smoothness.

Send in service center to check sim module ? One shouldn't face such issues at all in a perfectly good working smartphone

Guys, any ways to make Google Keyboard as the ONLY keyboard for S7e? I can't disable Samsung Keyboard and sometimes it pops up notification to "Select Input Method".

The s6 already has weak speaker . Adding waterproof make it worst .

Yea one of the caused are due to the proofing as well.

I think at present waterproofare important, imagine a 3k phone got damage due to water etc.

so ive been using this phone for a couple of weeks..

there are somethings that im still getting used to coming from the Z3. especially the multitasking button. usually its on the left side but Samsung flips it to the other side for some reason.

i still need to get used to the Touchwiz interface which i think i will eventually.. was on IOS then Z1 > Z3 and this S7E
Really liked the lightly skinned Sony UI.

I havent noticed any lags on this yet. so far so good.

and oh my VRS case works perfectly with Clear Case

You can use all in one gesture app to flip the buttons whichever way you like. Just turn off softkey button light and it would be perfect. thumbup.gif
