Just noticed the Always ON Display can set activation time, don't know since when they add this function. Recent update??? Anyway, a handy features i would say, so now i can set the AOD from 9am to 6pm, which is my working hour.

Cheap or not cheap quality it still a Gorilla 4 screen, so it should adhere to certain drop strength.

Is S6 edge better? Maybe S6 edge should be used as a benchmark.

Or perhaps the metal casing design is more rigid compare to plastic casing, so in drop test rather than casing crumple, the screen crack instead.

They are alot of factor i believe.

I would say its the curve screen giving higher probability for screen damage when it falls. Not really the material.

Agree,edge seem bring more ease in screen crack falling. In additional,edge tempered glass always have problem of peeling off.

This is down to the 3rd party accessories fault, nothing to do with edge screen.

Not hard to imagine, dozen of accessories out there, all claimed themself is the best, only edge screen manage to unveil the truth of that.

Having problem with the audio jack, media volume always go back the blue level once I plug it in, prefer to have it at 90% when I plug the audio jack. Occurs for both Spotify and Google play music

used to use S6edge before using n6p and S7e.
both edge and i bought 3 S7e sets (1 for me, 1 for my dad, 1 for my friend), so far pretty good and sturdy. no issue.
s6e ad s7e both dont have issue. im wearing jeans, although not skinny jeans but not that loose also. no issue taking it out until crack.

anyway, due to screen design in edge, the edge area itself can be the weakness to have higher probability to crack compared to boring old flat screen stuff.

Pm already. All type of phone & tablet he can repair.. send my ipad to shop at perangin mall they take almost 4hour to change the screen.
But when i found him, change the screen with him only take 30minute only.
