See spec already know la. Not everyone have money like you to test out all the phone.

Went to "hands-on" a ZE520 unit on saturday. I kinda agree with our local reviewer (i think it was soyacincau, or was it pokde) - it felt premium enough.
It's still a shame that it costs too close to a "flagship" SD820 unit (i.e. the Mi5).
The ZE550 on the other hand, is too close to OnePlus 3...

OMG you are way off point here. We are talking about phones and the debate is how is SD625 vs SD650 or even SD810, SD820 chipset
Personally I had zero experience with SD625 chipset phones and I am unable to even comment how much poorer it is vs say SD650 or SD652. That forumer had openly say it is crappy. I cannot said it is so as I had no experience. It is possibly poorer vs SD650, SD652 but how "crappier" is it ?? Well, I do admit I am not so smart to be able to say anything ( or how poor it is ) about SD625 until I had a chance to test it
I had experience with high end SD820 phones and seriously it is over rated as lower end SD808 is equally good too, The performance increase in SD820 is insignificant to me

I am waiting for this 6.8 ultra phone, is it available in Malaysia?

But if the price difference between a SD625 phone and a SD820 phone is insignificant, would you not choose the latter?
Right now, all I know is that ZE520 with its SD625 is priced 1499 while Mi5 is 1549 - too close for my comfort...
Sure, the MI5 lacks SD-card slot. But to be honest, the same argument of SD625 being sufficient is there for me - my 16GB Acer E700 with its 8GB sd-card is still having almost 10GB free (5.75 on the phone memory)... and this phone is 1.5 yr used already, without having reset/reformatted once.
So, all in all, Mi5 is very much the better choice for me.
But since I don't have to buy now, I'll just wait for prices to drop... Maybe I'll end up with ZE520, maybe there's a better choice down the road... who knows.

Did you try at those Asus main retailers ? Demo sets were available during launch date
Only 20 units ( RM 2599) with some freebies were offered for sale during launch date and all were sold out
I was told buyers should be able to get their sets by end Aug/early Sept

I'm agreed to uncle benny tho. Two devices with same specs doesn't mean you will have the same smooth experience. My Redmi note 3 2gb/16gb stutters much more than Redmi note 2 when switching apps although RN3 use Sd650. Turn off miui optimization and it feels better ( at least for now ).

BTW, you can get ZE520KL @ ~Rm1170 at gemfive.

Because Redmi Note 3 ROM optimise for 3GB RAM. You bought wrong device because you don't look at spec.

I dont know what kind of launch Asus is doing here, I'm looking for the deluxe version as well, went to the retail shop, call their customer service, all cant answer when it will be available here.
