Read somewhere it will be available on August. Btw, how does Sd625 fares with Sd650? Seems like a slower chip but hopefully the battery life is good.

QUOTE(ELinawa @ May 31 2016, 10:59 PM) At first I hope they could retain sub $300 they give us with ZF2, but come to think of it, ZF2 is a midrange phone, so thats price fall to normal ZF3 (SD625), so no biggie.. At first I thought the standard ZF3 is also overpriced especially when compared to RN3. However, checking back the specs sheet, they include 2.5D display, usb type C, Sony IMX298 sensor + OIS, oh well, it's sound good. Maybe I should consider to buy one later.but the one of the main reason ZF series became popular is because of its price.. hoping for sub rm2k from them for ZF duluxe.. Oh btw, Asus didn't mentioned fast charging for the standard ZF3. Really hope that they don't drop this feature. This post has been edited by ashraf095: Jun 1 2016, 10:43 AM |

QUOTE(petrofsky77 @ Aug 6 2016, 11:49 PM) Rm2599 for the SD820 is a bit too expensive IMO. In the same price league as Samseng dee. I understand that in this iteration they changed a lot from the ZF2, like metal body, invisible antenna, 23MP sensor with tri focus, but they should at least try to price it lower, then only can beat Samseng on the same playing field. With this price, pipu are more comfortable buying Samseng than Asus. International price is $499 (~Rm2015) so yeah, Rm600 increase is too much. |

QUOTE(cfa28 @ Aug 8 2016, 03:38 PM) Just wondering which is better buy Zen3 laser coz it use Sony IMX214 sensor, the same one used in OPO back then. Plus you get EIS too for video recording.ZenFone 3 Max vs ZenFone 2 Selfie vs ZenFone 3 Laser. Chip wise, the ZenFone 2 Selfie has best chip but what about the camera. |

QUOTE(gogo2 @ Aug 11 2016, 10:30 PM) That is stupid version of zenfone with crappy sd625. Free also i throw into dustbin. Better wait for sd652 version or sd820. Sd625 isn't crappy at all. It gives you all the performance you need while at the same time they greatly improve efficiency with 14nm processor for smooth gaming even on FHD with no overheating. In fact zen3 is much cooler than other competitor. Battery life is also superb. Even with 3000mah it is on par with RN3 4000mah battery (though not much review atm).Tbh I don't really interested on zenfone 3 series since they announced their price, but I just can't wait for Redmi 4 with sd625 later lol. |

QUOTE(abu.shofwan @ Aug 15 2016, 10:04 AM) Be that as it may... and i don't intend to add fuel to the argument of "crappy" I'm agreed to uncle benny tho. Two devices with same specs doesn't mean you will have the same smooth experience. My Redmi note 3 2gb/16gb stutters much more than Redmi note 2 when switching apps although RN3 use Sd650. Turn off miui optimization and it feels better ( at least for now ).But if the price difference between a SD625 phone and a SD820 phone is insignificant, would you not choose the latter? Right now, all I know is that ZE520 with its SD625 is priced 1499 while Mi5 is 1549 - too close for my comfort... Sure, the MI5 lacks SD-card slot. But to be honest, the same argument of SD625 being sufficient is there for me - my 16GB Acer E700 with its 8GB sd-card is still having almost 10GB free (5.75 on the phone memory)... and this phone is 1.5 yr used already, without having reset/reformatted once. So, all in all, Mi5 is very much the better choice for me. But since I don't have to buy now, I'll just wait for prices to drop... Maybe I'll end up with ZE520, maybe there's a better choice down the road... who knows. BTW, you can get ZE520KL @ ~Rm1170 at gemfive. |

QUOTE(vanpersie91 @ Aug 27 2017, 11:04 AM) any review for asus zenfone 3 max ZC520TL version? No need to look at MTK one. I saw lots of complains on fb. Main problem is heat and battery drain. how does the MTK proc performance? does it overall not so far left behind by his big brother 5.5" verdion? If you are looking for new one, 5.5" version is only Rm709 at lazada. Merdeka promo i guess. |
