Groceries/eating, give it a few years and there will be an abundance of those all over Rimbayu/Tropicana AMan/EcoSanc/G257

Um... i never leave house at 7am so i cant comment.

But I understand it would be better to leave abit earlier, heard by 645am it would be MUCH better.

By 8pm if I come back, it usually takes me around 35~45min

These days its very easy and involves little effort.

Load up google map at 7am, point from Rimbayu to your office. Then again at 730am, 8am, 830am etc...
Then load it up in the evening when you usually leave office.

Do it for a week.

You get a good idea of what is the average travel time for each time slot.

Actually no one can advice you which property suits you best.

Its also your focus, your family etc.

I'm moving to canal city due to the bigger land area, the G&G situation, the landscaping, the jogging track within the gates etc for my wife/kids. I want my children to have a nice green area to grow up and not stuck in a condo. So I sacrifice my needs for theirs.

Ofcourse some just look at the $$, or whether their property can last 100 yrs or not. Thats their prerogative, mine is my family.

Ofcourse dumping a few hundred K for a house is a big move, hence you shoudl take your time, slowly go visit all other place. Bring yoru wife, her opinion is also very important, god forbid you dare buy a place she dont like.... you will never hear the end of it laugh.gif

Rimbayu have a strata phase, I think its Wisteria, thats true G&G, security etc all same as condo.

Actually RImbayu is part of the entire Canal City.

Check out the landscaping at Eco/Tropicana just next door.

Infact Tropicana phase 1 (Arahsia) is currently being VPed and lots of flippers looking to sell their units. Prices are... competitive due to the depressed market.

Go check it out, jalan jalan abit.

Ya sacrifice abit during the weekdays so that the family can enjoy .

Also I like the safety factor... nice lush garden/jogging etc for the family all under gated and guarded environment. Also club house 500m down the road, and an international school next door. Nice "rural" living for the family..

Dpmt have to go thru the trouble. Use google map, you can sit in office and monitor real time travelling condition from Rimbayu to Office, you dont actually have to be there driving ....

From my experience, it will not fluctuate more then 10 minute.

I used google map/waze last 3 years everyday to/from office and it never increases by more then single digit to arrive at my destination. Sometimes if I drive like an arsehole I can arrive earlier by double digit la tongue.gif

I've alrdy mention, do the google map thing for a week at various timing in the morning/evening and you get a general idea of the traffic condtion, its next to impossible for us to actually drive there for no reason on the week days.... as for takign leave.. the cost is prohibitive...
