Never been there before but heard they changed new train set for their Yangon circular train and they are quite canggih, expressway up to 20 lanes

But a delay is still a delay, no matter how one looks at it. And for a country in dire need of proper public transit, I really think that this project should've been left alone as it is, or at least do some cost rationalisation in areas will not affect the original deadline.

Every MRT 2 projects also suffer of both of rental / appreciation.
Theoretically all cheras mrt property also hailating now

600k & above range of properties owner still rely on using pubic transport meh?
if i can pay 3000 monthly installment next to mrt, might as well drive a fancy BMW to work

My colleague who lives in a landed house within 500m from the Taman Midah MRT station also use it to commute to work and social activities...

Even an acquaintance of mine staying at Seri Maya near the Setiawangsa LRT station also does the same, and so did my friend who stay at Main Place near the USJ21 station and commutes daily to KLCC.

So yes, in the end, their cars become weekend cars. laugh.gif

And not every company provides carparks for their employees.

I wondered the same thing! BUT THEN only the parent can afford to drive BMW. Some of the rich kids in my neighbourhood still need to rely on MRT/LRT! Which I think it is safer for them too considering how the kids might speed if they drive a powerful car.

I would take MRT to work if walking distance and if my work is near a station.


Fact is we don't need flashy cars, or even brand new. It's a narrative sold by car companies. Make you feel good.

Once honeymoon period is over you'll be saddled with a piece of metal with four tyres which you sink money into every month.

Just drive a used car and maintain it properly, the future you will thank you for it.
