This is bad. sad.gif bangwall.gif The limit. In the event something happen to amanah saham (highly unlikely), we are limited by the amount we can withdraw. We need to check with them and banks whether one can perform unlimited withdrawal at banks or not. Hansel. now would be a good time to panic.

well I can confirm 250k withdrawal per shot is acceptable by banks.

It is because there is a limit imposed for cash withdrawal at ASNB branch. There is also a limit imposed for cash withdrawal at Pos Office. This is nothing new as this policy has been in place for yonks. Of all the agent banks, one bank also imposed a limit on the amount of cash you can withdraw from your ASNB account but I forgot which bank already. I posted the name of the bank a few years ago. You may be able to find it in one of the old threads biggrin.gif Anyway, if my memory serves me correctly, the bank with the cash limit is CIMB Bank. RHB Bank is definitely unlimited. But if it is more than RM1 million you better check if that particular branch has enough cash.

ASNB teller can "see" it. They just need to select what fund and they will know how many available.

Friday is actually busier in Sarawak ASNB. I am number 11th in the queue and end up i spent more than 1 hour to complete the buy in process. 6 Mins at the counter only. The rest you are actually waiting for the slow and steady staff doing their job.

My branch max withdraw limit if im not forgotten 40 or 50k. Rhb bank can withdraw 6 or 7 digits as u wish.
